"Rooms need upgrading on the 2nd floor. We arrived 1pm. Check in normally 2pm. Reception wanted £10 extra for each room for an early check in. PARKING EASY £4 PER NIGHT "

"Clean room and decorated really well but sharp and direct staff upon entry. No restaurant despite advertised as such, It is now only open until 4 as it only serves brunch. Walls paper thin, rooms tiny and breakfast was very bad. Cooked breakfast available but poor choice and only chicken sausages and turkey bacon. No turkey bacon available, no avocado available, no mushrooms available. Poached eggs were full of water when cut open Just a bit a great experience. Looks nice at first glance but peel back the layers and it’s not very good at all."

"There is no air conditioning. There were rats making sound biting through some board. There was loud noises of people running as I was given a room in the basement. Hardly used for 10 hours after booking the place for 2 days and no one would bother about the issue when raised. Only convenience is it's close to the train station and place of my work "

"I found the flat easily from the address that was given, parking was very convenient behind the property and the door codes worked fine. The flat was clean and nicely maintained and decorated, the WiFi worked perfectly and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook a meal and the bathroom was clean with a shower that was easy to use. The bed was very comfortable, and the duvet and bed linen were particularly soft and snuggly.I feel that my stay could have been improved by adding a bedside lamp, and a floor lamp and a table lamp or two in the sitting room area. Because the ceilings are so high, the lighting was quite harsh, so I think some side lights would improve the ambiance. Although a lot of effort was made with little touches of decorative objects lighting is really important. As my stay was in early March it was cold outside, so I was obliged to put the radiators on, which worked well, because the windows are so tall, I would suggest a set of thermal curtains in the sitting area would stop the draught from the window. Fortunately a throw was provided so I was able to drape it over myself. All in all this accommodation makes a great base to stay in Huddersfield and I would definitely recommend it."

"Didn’t stay in the end. The owner wanted personal ID upfront via a picture When I questioned why he wanted my personal details and asked about GDPR rules he said if I want to cancel just cancel I tried to but it was too late so I lost my money "
