"Such a perfectly beautiful site on Norton Pond with wonderful views from the dock and from inside the cottage. Very quiet and serene but still with easy access to the road to Camden. The house has all the amenities that you could think of. Before booking I was a little concerned that the size would bother us after a while given we stayed two weeks, but it was fine. We do these extended stays about twice a year while I take classes so we've stayed in a lot of places. We'll keep this place in mind from now on since pond life is hard to beat!"

"This little cabin was cozy and comfortable. The setting directly on the pond was idyllic. It was easy to settle in and feel "at home." The listed amenities included a gas fireplace and stove but the hostess clarified it was a gas fireplace stove, which was very pleasant and easy to use. We loved this cabin setting so much that we wouldn't hesitate to rent it again."

"This property is amazing. Private, country setting, beautiful. Wonderful space with so much room. Washer and dryer with detergent available made a big difference when packing! Pancake mix and Maine jelly waiting for us. Prompt communication, clear instructions. Really hated leaving. Would 100% stay there again. Great location within ten mins of Camden. Thanks so much Mark!!! Absolutely loved the entire experience."

"It may have been overcast and dreary outside, inside was bright and cheery. Our cabin on the lake in the woods was perfect. Conveniently located to Camden and other small waterfront towns. We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia . We are 5 ladies in our 80's traveling together for 38 years. This was high on our list of favorites. Loved the lake view, the cleanliness, comfort plus the downstairs bedroom was a gift. Our host, Carolee, responded immediately and offered wonderful suggestions of places to see and where to eat. It truly was a special week for all of us."

"This cottage and its location were everything we had hoped for. The cottage is solidly built, comfortable, and very well-equipped. We know this pond well and the site is excellent - privately situated in beautiful wooded grounds just a short walk to the water. At night it is so quiet you can easily hear the loons and barred owls. Liza was responsive, and we felt confident that support was there if we needed it. However, everything was so thoughtfully planned and arranged that no help was necessary. The stairs to the bedrooms upstairs are steep but are not hard to manage if you are careful."
