Wonderful to be woken up in our first morning by neighbour’s rooster. You know you’re in the country by his wake up call. What a lovely cottage - very nicely renovated - garden next I suspect. The owners have made it very comfortable and it is very well furnished and everything you need in cupboards and draws. Le Crotoy is a hidden gem and utterly gorgeous as are all the surrounding towns. Clearly a best kept secret holiday destination for the French as we were the only Brits but that made it more special. We will return it was fabulous. Sorry that a chair snapped when my son sat on it!
