Beautiful accommodation in a fantastic location, truly dog friendly with enclosed garden and fields for dogs to play safely. Me and my dog loved it, can’t wait to book again Thankyou for such a wonderful stay x jo and Ellie
Lovely cottage. Secluded spot, very quiet and great views. Very well set up for dogs - great having a fenced field for them to run around safely. Bowls, balls, dog towels, poo bags, etc provided. Very comfy for the humans too!
Wow it was perfect .weather awful but kids weren't bored dog loved the freedom of the field.short drive to shops definitely booking again .Pauline you were great thankyou .lynn
I you want to be out and about every day in beautiful scenery and then have an awesome base to relax then look no further. Stunning views out of every window and 2 large secure paddocks that you can let your 4 legged friend enjoy with no fear of them getting out. The hardest thing is convincing the dog to come inside and join you in the evening.
The property is lovely, plenty of room for me, my mother and my dog. Pauline goes above with lovely extras incluidng eggs, milk ankd cake. Home made biscuits, plenty of towels and bowls for the dog.
Quiet location with 2 large fields for dogs to run free and secure. Just a short drive to leek.
I will definitely stay again.
We all loved the property just the right size with everything that we needed. Attention to detail, lots of thought gone into making it completely dog friendly and secure, just gutted the weather only permitted us one dog field visit!
We thoroughly enjoyed our week and will happily be visiting again as soon as possible.

A family holiday with teenagers and 2 dogs. Cottage and grounds incuding field absolutely amazing. Completely enclosed for dogs. Beautiful area with lots to do. Family went to Alton towers which was 20 minutes away. Wonderful walks to suit all abilities as not easy getting teenagers to walk too far! We all had an amazing weeks holiday, blessed by Beautiful weather. Hope to return one day.
Great little cottage getaway, perfect for dogs (secure garden and secure paddock). Amazing walking/hiking close by. Cottage has everything you would need set in lovely surroundings.
Lovely cottage and super location for walking locally or a short trip to Ilam Park and Rudyard lake with my dogs. I had high hopes and I wasn't disappointed.
From minute we walked in our stay was just what we remembered from last time we had been . Beautiful country kitchen and restaurant it lovely host left us a cake . Must say it had gone in the first half hour with us all . Eggs milk all the essentials to start out stay . It’s perfect for dogs my two loved the space and2 fields all to themselves. Perfect as one my dogs is reactive . Start to finish we loved it made memories in this little part off paradise . Hopefully we will be back soon .
This was a wonderful cottage to stay on over Christmas. So cosy and comfortable. It’s actually better than the pictures look!
Very dog friendly - mesh at the bottom of gates, dog towels, poo bags etc so our dog enjoyed lots of freedom. The two secure fields are a real bonus - for us and the dog to get fresh air and with beautiful views.

A lovely property!
We stayed here for 5 days to visit family in the surrounding areas. This was a lovely place to stay in very pretty surroundings. The cottage was very well presented and very clean. It had some lovely finishing touches including a welcome pack on arrival which was very appreciative after a long journey. It was great to be able to bring our dog along with us and still be able to stay in good quality accommodation. We would definitely recommend this place to stay. The only negative was that it rained!

Brilliant Cottage
Really impressed with Little Bent Cottage, spotlessly clean and comfortable, great welcome by Pauline who supplied milk, eggs and cakes, really felt like a home from home and the living room is really bright and sunny with great decor throughout. Our dogs loved the huge fields that are fenced and at the bottom of the garden, the rear garden is still being redeveloped, but once finished it will be another big plus for the cottage. Location is great ideal for the peaks and Staffordshire with great access to the main roads, whilst still being secluded and peaceful with fantastic views, we will certainly be returning. thank you Pauline for a fantastic stay.

Little Bent Cottage
Just had a relaxing week at Little Bent Cottage. Warm, comfortable and peaceful despite being only a very short drive into Leek where there is everything you might need, (including excellent Indian takeaway that delivers). Great to be able to have our dog with us and even a dog-sitter available (thank you Emily), so we could go to nearby Alton Towers with the kids for a full day without worrying. Bike storage is a great bonus - some really great off road cycling nearby on the Manifold Trail and local reservoirs. Lots of excellent walking nearby including The Roaches, a definite highlight for us.The cottage has pretty-much everything you could want and Pauline the owner is very helpful, the milk, eggs and cake were very welcome on arrival. The cottage is under-going a little work at present,(e.g. garden being landscaped), hence the 4 stars given at present. Still would recommend the cottage, didn't really scratch the surface of what is available to do locally and it was a good place to come home to relax in.

Lovely spot for a break
We stayed at Little Bent for 3 nights to attend a wedding near Leek and made an excellent choice. We were 4 adults and found the cottage very clean, spacious, warm and well equipped, with lovely comfortable beds. It is in a beautiful spot, not far from Leek but surrounded by fields and stunning views. We adored watching the lambs in the adjacent fields. The owner Pauline was extremely friendly and very helpful, providing us with tea, coffee, fresh eggs and delicious cup cakes. She was happy to provide us with the number of a local taxi firm (Leek Link) who were also helpful, prompt and inexpensive.
We had a lovely day out on the Cheddleton Steam railway and enjoyed a lovely walk along the canal. We managed to get a table at Sera, Italian restaurant not very far from the cottage. The food was delicious and very good value for money.
We would be delighted to recommend Little Bent for a short break or longer holiday and would love to come back and explore the area some more.
Many thanks Pauline and Best wishes for the future.

Little Bent is a Little Gem
The experience of Little Bent and the surrounding area was wonderful from the moment we arrived. The four of us (two couples) arriving a little after 7.30pm, spotting the house in the dark just off the secluded road. The remote area made it a perfect opportunity to gaze up at the stars, that evening being particularly clear and warm for this time of year.
We were welcomed by log burners and a generous basket full of goodies and essentials. There was no squabbling over rooms as they were equally as inviting and comfortable as each other. Thanks to 360 views, it was lovely wherever in the cottage you were.
The cottage has a strong character yet is modest; with simple and appropriate furnishings. Living in a new build apartment currently, the plush carpets, wooden beams and log burners were a treat.
The jacuzzi bath was amazing, although I'd recommend not using too much bubble bath. All linens were fresh, clean and crisp - nothing felt cheap.
Pauline and Ray were brilliant hosts, making us all feel welcome and giving ideas on things to do during our stay.
For the whole weekend, we felt like the cottage was our home. We settled right in. It just has that vibe.
We cooked each night, all pots, pans, utensils were provided. Baking trays and tin foil would have been handy, but that is my only gripe.
Whether you are going with friends, family or as a couple, you will not be disappointed with Little Bent. Pauline and Ray have clearly put a lot of effort into this place, which would make it feel like home for anyone.
It is excellent value for money and there is so much to do in the area. We are already talking about this being a yearly retreat.
Super place for families of all ages including dogs.
The house is so comfortable and clean, a rural location that we wanted but near enough to shops for food , petrol etc.
One of the best parts for us was the secure outside space for the dogs, they had an amazing time charging around outside ! Great walks nearby or many places of interest a shortish drive away. A very welcome homemade cake, milk and eggs on arrival, not forgetting the doggy biscuits.
A Really good family bathroom, comfortable bedrooms, a lovely kitchen and lounge area , a great place to stay and enjoy family/friend time together. Would def stay again in the future.
cannot ask for a better location. If you are looking for peace and quiet you will be ok here. Rural but only 5 mins from Leek which has plenty of shops.. 25 minutes to Alton Towers. The cottage was spotless. The hosts were very polite and helpful. I only wish we could have stayed longer. If we get the chance will definitely stay there again.
From booking to leaving was easy. Very kind owner and left some goodies for us which we all loved. Property clean and spacious and plenty of space outside for kids to play. Would highly recommend
