An enclosed side porch opens up into the spacious kitchen/dining room with wet room, All stone floors and a Victorian island unit. Lakeside View (UK33428) is a spacious, rustic two-storey stone cottage which sleeps two. It has a lovely open plan living space where you will find a wood burner, perfect for those cosy nights in. The bedroom which has vaulted ceiling is on the first floor, along with a roll top bath & bubble bath provided. Lake Cottage (UK33429) is a pretty single-storey, cosy stone Cottage which sleeps two people which is named the lovers cottage and is perfect for a couple’s getaway. The bedrooms have Hypnos double & kingsize beds, and there is an en-suite shower room complete with underfloor heating.
This wonderful location nestles in a lush green valley and is surrounded by Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Known as ’The Garden Town of Staffordshire’ it prides itself on the display of flowers throughout the town which can be seen from spring through to late autumn. There is an abundance of activities to occupy visitors, from the National Trust owned Biddulph Grange, with its renowned gardens designed by James Bateman featuring Egyptian temples, oriental pergolas and Scottish glens, and the outstanding Little Moreton Hall is 4 miles away. The town has two delightful country parks to explore and the renowned Jodrell Bank Observatory, home to the Lovell Telescope, if its thrills you and your family seek then close by you will find the famous Alton Towers.
Within easy reach are the Staffordshire Moorlands, Derbyshire and the Pennines, and for a day out, and the short distance to the Peak District National Park makes this town very popular with walkers and hikers.
