We had a wonderful stay at The Dolphin Inn. I would highly recommend booking in for dinner as the food was delicious. The staff were all very friendly, good breakfast and the bed was so comfortable. We would definitely sty again!
Really enjoyable stay at the Dolphin in a well presented quiet room with everything you need, including a hot water bottle which fortunately wasn't required in June! Comfortable bed with cotton bed linen and all very clean. Plenty of hot water. Supper and breakfast were both freshly cooked and plenty of choice. On Thursdays there is a special offer of two vegan meals for the price of one. Close to the beach and a good walk (5 miles there and back) to Aldeburgh on the level. The bric a brac shop in Thorpeness is worth a visit too.
A nice place to escape everything, barring the sea and fresh air. Good service and good food.
Be aware check-in is between 11-3pm and then from 6pm, not a problem if you plan for it.. An easy walk ( 1 mile each way) to along the beach.
