We were able to travel to the various historical attractions in the area easily without having to stay in the heart of a city. Our room was very spacious, including the bathroom, and clean. "DON’T STAY until they replace the shower plumbing. The shower is smaller than a telephone booth (not so unusual) but the fixture is a single lever for both volume and temperature that is EASILY bumped with your body and can send scalding water into the shower. They need a dual control, one for temperature and one for volume, like we have had in numerous hotels throughout our travels in Europe. The current situation is unsafe and unacceptable. Beyond that, the hotel is ideally located for tours, restaurants, and for exploring the area. It is clean and well maintained and the staff were helpful and friendly. It’s really a great hotel with a dangerous shower."
