"We were on a cycling trip. Check in was easy and the staff very helpful in locking away our bikes in a secure location. The beds were very comfortable and showers hot! Breakfast was standard continental with plenty of food available. Located a little out of town centre and surprisingly quiet. The rooms are in need of some minor maintenance but comfortable."

"A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. Woke up to birdsong and quiet , and a great breakfast in their large conservatory. Service excellent and helpful. "Very friendly staff and room very clean. Lovely setting with each room having its own terrace. Dog friendly and there is a great public open space on the other side of the road where dogs can be exercised. Unfortunately we could not use the restaurant because a wedding party was using it. However good restaurants nearby and good room service meant this did not detract too much."
