"Ein herrliches Fleckchen Idylle. Sehr freundliche Begrüßung und äußerst nette Gastgeber. Sauber, ordentlich und ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen. "Schönes Ferienhaus für den kurzen Aufenthalt zu Zweit. Alles vorhanden was man für diese Zeit benötigt. Ideal für Paare die den Vorteil von zwei Duschen/WC nicht missen wollen. Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig und durchdacht. Der Vermieter hat fast alles für "vergessliche" in Vorlage bereitgestellt. Wlan wird auch bereit gestellt. In unserem Fall war das gut da das Mobile Netz sehr schwach an diesem Standort ist. Uns hat der überdachte Balkon besonders gefallen. Das Geläut der Kirche nebenan stört...

Am besten waren definitiv die Fensterfront und der Balkon mit dem tollen Ausblick auf die Waldhänge!"

"Das Haus hat einen phantastischen urigen Charme. Es hat uns an den Fuchsbau von Harry Potter erinnert. Einfach phantastisch. Die Kinder waren auch mehr als begeistert. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Man kommt schnell überall hin und die Aussicht ist grandios.Wir können dieses Objekt nur weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder."

"My favorite thing about this hotel was the little bridge that led across the Itz stream right into old Coburg. The walk from the train station sucks right now, since there is some serious construction going on all over Coburg. But that little bridge was everything! Great access to a nice town. The breakfast was good and plentiful, and our room was the typical Ibis basic but clean arrangement."

"I recently stayed at Hotel Adler in Rudolstadt and was impressed by its unbeatable location—right in the city center, just steps from the main square, the train station, and the stunning baroque Heidecksburg Castle. The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building dating back to 1880, which adds a lot of character and charm to the experience. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the style of the period while still offering modern comfort. There is parking available, which is a great convenience if you’re traveling by car. One downside is that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be a bit uncomfortable in hot weather. However, given the age and style of the building, it’s understandable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. As for breakfast, it’s fairly basic—not outstanding, but perfectly adequate to start the day. Overall, Hotel Adler is a great choice if you’re looking to stay somewhere with character and a central location in Rudolstadt."

On arrival, found out you don’t stay in the schloss, rather a very unattractive side building, freezing cold, tiny room. The restaurant was closed, another reason I had chosen this hotel was because it had a restaurant, nobody told us it would be closed. Very poor. The service was friendly at breakfast & that’s my reason for ranking this at okay. The lady was lovely & made our start to each day a pleasant one ."
