Pretty unique place, like something out of a BBC Sunday night period drama but with very hospitable people.

An eccentric country house
Kelly house is a very old, eccentrically decorated country house in some beautiful gardens. A little shabby around the edges but it adds to the charm! The Kelly family are very welcoming, chatty and accommodating - definitely not an impersonal hotel experience but something a little different. Thanks for having us :)

The hosts were extremely welcoming and laid on tea and coffee plus cakes on arrival. The breakfast the following morning was also excellent. The room was clean and fully equipped with everything you could need.

Cornish trip
Was a bit worried when first arriving as part of the roof was missing, but soon found out why. Other than that what can you say about a 900 year old Manor House that is still in the same family. Very friendly and welcoming, excellent service and good food.

Very interesting place which is full of history. Parts of the house are asking for refurbishment and it is a bit of "work in progress" but the bedrooms are nicely decorated, very clean and have excellent underfloor heating installed. The service is fantastic and food is delicious. The location is a bit remote but that is an advantage if you are looking for a peaceful holiday. There are nice pubs, restaurants and coffee shops in the area if you don't mind driving a bit. All in all, a place well worth visiting.
