    The Space:

    The Old Cowshed is a single-storey property consisting of an open-plan living space with kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, popcorn maker and a coffee machine, a dining area with seating for four guests, a lounge area with Smart TV and a shared games room with pool table, table tennis, table football, darts board and a selection of games and DVDs. There are two super-king-size bedrooms (zip/link, can be twin on request) with Smart TVs and en-suite shower rooms. Outside there is an enclosed garden with patio, lawn, furniture and barbecue, access to 11-acres, as well as off-road parking for two cars. Please note that two well-behaved dogs are welcome but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The Old Cowshed is a wonderful escape for a memorable stay in Devon. Note: There is wheelchair access and accessible doors throughout.



    The Neighborhood:

    Lifton is a small village in the upper Tamar Valley, close to Launceston and the passing A30 road into Cornwall. This pretty community, once sitting astride the old A30 London to Penzance trunk road, is blessed with a village shop and post office, a superb pub and 3 top quality restaurants. At the far end of the village is an award winning farm shop/pick-your-own complex with a good bakery and on-site restaurant. Well placed for visiting anywhere in the South West, Dartmoor is 20 minutes away by car, Bodmin Moor is also 30 minutes and all of the major beaches and Cornish holiday attractions can be reached in under 45 minutes.
