One have to put the hotel into the perspective of Malawi. For sure it was not a world class hotel, but the stay was ok. Room was relative big and location good right next to the mall, unfortunately most of shops were closed on Sunday.
On positive side I put room size, friendly service and location. Also the offer of airport pick up at 30 USD is good deal cheaper than what taxis would charge at airport.
On negative front room did not have safe even if room description mentions it, no elevator, however staff does help to carry big bags to the room. The biggest challenge (cross Malawi) is that there is challenges for paying with credit card. I was trying to pay my taxi at hotel but they were never able to get it through so had to pay in cash at the end. Be prepared for this. Breakfast is nothing to write back home, nice thing is they do cook fresh eggs. You also only get wifi code working on one device, in my case they allowed me to use next room code but if hotel is full, this would not work.
There is not a lot of options in Lilongwe, I would probably come back even with all missing things.
