Wonderful countryside retreat close to 2 lovely cities

We live on acreage in Australia and loved the morning walks, though colder! The accommodation exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises in the future

Lodge was spacious and suited our needs for a family Christmas.

Lodge was spacious and suited our needs for a family Christmas. The welcome pack was very much appreciated, although a bottle of milk would have been handy. The kitchen was not very clean, especially the hob and the fridge and we couldn’t find any place mats. All in all though in view of these few niggles we still had a lovely stay. My daughter loved the alpacas and the woodland walk. Thanks also to the owner for contacting us about something we left behind.

Great hideaway escape

A lovely property out in the countryside. Lovely and peaceful, really enjoyed listening to all the animals. Great base to get to Lincoln or Newark. We loved our stay.
