Fantastic Outlook
The lodge has a lovely aspect, with uninterrupted views over the lake, it is extremely well equipped catering for all your needs. Unfortunately the information folder was missing so we had to contact the owner to get the WiFi code. The owner’s put in an awful lot of effort into the presentation of the lodge and even decorating it for Easter, much appreciated. Tattershall lakes itself is extremely large and signage is poor so you end up driving round and round trying to find the way out. The stay was marred by the unusable shower the water was scalding even on the cold setting. It would have been dangerous if we hadn’t noticed prior to putting the children in there, it started off cold then built and built so I was unable to rinse off soap and shampoo. The owners have said they will be replacing the unit soon. The resort owners try to force you to purchase the expensive passes even if all you wish to use is the small children’s playground, due to everything being fenced off and pass checked to enter. This results in you having to leave the site for children’s activities/pubs/restaurants or purchase the expensive passes.

Amazing break
Stunning lodge , plenty room and comfy beds. Set in a beautiful location on park , we all had a amazing time and didn’t want to leave , Thankyou we are already looking at booking again soon x

Superb Lodge overlooking lake
From start to finish communications from Marion and Danny was excellent. Nothing too much trouble wonderful hosts.The lodge has everything you could want home from home. The hottub on varanda is lovely in the sun and in evenings. Nice place to fish opposite lodge. The pub at enterance to site is nice place to eat also a fish and chip shop on site both easy walking distance. It is in ideal location to visit Skegness and the beautiful city of Lincoln. I would highly recommend it to anyone to stay. Thank you Marion and Danny you went above and beyond. The White family

Perfect location
Loved our stay at bunting lodge. The location was perfect having 2 children. Close enough to the main part but then on duck lake so you can feel away from the hustle and bustle too. Great communication from the hosts and check in so easy! Will be booking again

Lovely week away with family
From start to finish this holiday was lovely. The lodge really added to our trip away. Everything we needed and such a gorgeous view with access to private fishing. From the young 1 year old to the oaps in the group, everyone was well catered for. The beds were comfy, plenty of pillows, necessities available, lots of space, powerful shower (which we found is unusual for a lodge!) and lots of visitors in the way of ducks 🦆 thank you for having us, the location was amazing and your lodge was beautiful. Thanks again and hopefully we will stay with you again soon if you will have us! Hannah and family x

Didn’t want to leave
Spent an amazing week at Bunting Lodge, the lodge and location was just beautiful overlooking duck lake and although in a quiet location was still really close to the amenities. The second bedroom with the double and single bed is a brilliant idea. The hot tub was amazing, communication with the host was always instant and the lodge had everything we needed and the weather was amazing (hottest week of the year).. This is our second visit to Tattershall, our first in this lodge but certainly won’t be our last. The only downside - the week went too quick!

The lodge was absolutely gorgeous, clean, and spacious Wonderful peace and quiet relaxing in the hot tub at night I will come back to tattershall lakes There is plenty to do with the children/ grandchildren It was our first time and we will definitely book again

Lovely Lodge and Lake!
The lodge was easy to find (though much of Tattershall can feel like a Labyrinth) and had the best view and location. We were minutes away from the main complex and the view every morning of the lake was lovely. My daughter especially liked the hot tub! However, the whole lodge was perfect for our little family getaway.

Lovely long weekend break
The lodge is truly lovely and gave a homely feel as soon as you walked through the door. It is ideally located, have lovely decor and they have thought of everything. We even had games and DVD's to keep the kids entertained. Communication from the owner was also spot on. Would highly recommend. thank you

Easter Break
Really great experience in renting this property. Easy to book, great communication from Marion & Danny throughout. We were really impressed by the features in the property like the key safe for checking in and the outdoor fridge freezer which was perfect for the cold beers on what was a clear blue sky for 4 days. Wow. Got lucky there! The location of the property was arcing to none, south facing looking at the lake, sheltered from breeze. Just fab. Interior of property was mostly quality furnishings, there was lots of dirt, bottle tops, cards etc under the sofas but other than that very clean and homely. Would definitely recommend and book again. WELL DONE. As far as the resort goes, things to do were pretty limited but didn’t need much as went on a couple of days out and the weather was perfect as mentioned so sitting in the cocktail bar watching the planes was great. Was disappointed that we were only asked once for guest passes, anyone just wandered into the merlin area and had the same access as those who had bought passes. Didn’t spoli the experience though.

Christmas at Bunting Lodge
Beautiful lodge, decorated for Christmas, felt like home from home. Fantastic attention to detail. Lovely hamper on arrival, table decorations. Well equiped kitchen. Beds comfy, great hot tub. Would highly recommend.

Amazing!
We stayed at Bunting Lodge 1st to 5th November 21. What an amazing find. It was absolutely perfect in every way. It was so cosy, clean and equipped with everything we needed. Amazing lodge
Just home from a lovely week staying in Bunting lodge. Our 5th stay at Tattershall and it never fails to disappoint. This lodge has everything you need for a comfortable stay and in a perfect location. Beautiful beds and super soft towels too 🥰. Loved using the hot tub on a night under the starry 🌟 sky. We did use the outdoor pool but other than that we happily just stayed and relaxed around the lodge and lake where my husband enjoyed fishing from the private fishing peg. The park has doubled in size since we stayed pre lockdown but this lake is still peaceful. Thank you Marion and Daniel your lodge is just perfect.

Lovely lodge felt very homely had a wonderful relaxing week.. Fishing was great had pond to ourselves most of week caught bream & carp to double figures would return as all the amenities were close by & the grandchildren enjoyed the mini golf & adventure playground...

A LITTLE PIECE OF PARADISE!
Top tips: We are lakeside retreat rookies so now we've stayed once the only thing I would do differently next time is bring inspect repellent - as I am prone to getting eaten! We booked a supermarket delivery for the evening we arrived which was super convenient. THANK YOU Marion & Danny for an amazing stay and every thing you do to make this place so special! <3 5* We highly recommend.

Lovely home from home accommodation.
The property is in a beautiful location, and al though we didn't have much luck, the private fishing peg was an added bonus. Lovely hot tub with enviable viewing of the over head flights by old war planes, spitfire s etc

Lovely place

Perfect lodge
We've just come back from our stay at 21 Duck lake. The lodge is beautiful, in a perfect location. Very close to the amenities but in a very quiet area of the park. Lovely view of the lake! We hope to return very soon. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Beautiful property
Had a lovely 5 days away at this property located at the edge of duck lake on Tattershall Park. Myself, hysband and 3 teenagers were very happy with the beautifully presented lodge and the hot tub was amazing. Fishing was good too, my husband caught many carp 8 - 10lb which made him happy (apart from mosquito bites - but being next to a lake you would expect that). Very good communication from Danny and Marion, answered questions quickly and gave helpful information. A gem of a place to stay, would very much recommend it and would book again in a heartbeat.

Short stay over New Year
We found the lodge lovely and a real home from home experience for a relaxing few nights over new years eve. The communication from the owners was great and they made sure we had everything we needed. There was a power cut on new years eve at the park and the owners communicated with us and made sure we were ok at gone 10pm even though it was no fault of their own. We didnt use many of the facilities at the park but the lakes were nice to walk around. Thanks.

Lovely weekend away
We had a lovely weekend staying at Daniel and Marion’s property. The booking process was quick and easy and Marion was excellent at answering any questions. The lodge was perfect for our family with every thing you’d need, a real welcoming home away from home catering well for little ones. The lodge was lovely and warm with a great hot tub and everything we needed for a great weekend away. We used the onsite facilities which were really good and only a short walk from the lodge. We hope to return and would recommend this lodge for anyone looking to stay at Tattershall Lakes.

Disappointing
There were several things that did not make this stay a pleasurable one. 1/ The decking was covered in leaves 2/ It was very cold inside the lodge. 3/ There was no washing up bowl or drainer or tea towels 4/ The dishwasher was full of plates. 5/ On the Saturday night the gas bottle ran out and did not switch over to the new one, the boiler switched off and it was freezing. 6/ I looked out of the living room window on Saturday night and 2 lads were in the hot tub!! 7/ The lodge felt very cold and not homely. I did notice that in the guest feedback book, pages had been ripped out, so am assuming these were not very complimentry. I would not stay here again, it was very over priced and a big let down.

We are very disappointed to read this review. We regret even having to respond to it too, but have to address some of your 'accusations!' The first being, that you are insinuating that we have ripped pages out of the Review book. What a sad thing to suggest, we too have noticed pages ripped out, perhaps guests simply wanted a piece of paper to write on, because we too have ripped out pages to write on....! Why didn't you contact us about the gas bottle, and the '2 lads' in the hot tub, we could have contacted Security? We encourage guests to contact us any time, day or night if there are any problems, you have our mobile nos. We go above and beyond to make our guests happy and would love to know what we could do to make it more 'homely?' Coincidentally, a friend of yours who is an owner on site, came to the lodge at the weekend to pick up 2 coats which you had left there, I in fact asked her if the lodge was cold when you arrived.... she said 'No.' I even mentioned to her about how the washing up bowl and drainer had disappeared! She also said it was lovely and one of the better lodges on the park and a reasonable price..... If you look back at all the other Reviews we have had on HomeAway (where we can't rip out any pages......) you will see complimentary comments. Unfortunately, leaves fall from trees in winter, there is very little we can do about that. With regard to the dishwasher, we have to depend on the services we employ. Once again, we regret that we have had to respond to this review in this way. Of course we don't expect 'glowing' reviews everytime and have to accept that things won't always be perfect. Finally, we are also very happy that you wouldn't stay again....! A very Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year to you! PS I have just read an email you sent to us on HomeAway, I am copying it across for you to read: Hi both, Had a lovely stay, but think have left.a couple.of coats there, could you leave them at reception and my friend will.pick them up. Great place for a getaway
Right from the initial enquiry to arriving home Marion could not have be more helpful. We had booked a long weekend during the recent very bad weather and we're worried about the flooding, we contacted Marion and she was straight 'on it' contacting the park and her cleaner to ensure all was well and we would be okay to travel. The lodge was superb just as described, a well stocked kitchen and plenty of toilet rolls in the loos ... something you always forget to take! It was warm and cosy with a lovely view of the lake through the double patio doors. The hot tub was 'hot!' and a great place to start the weekend after the drive down. The beds were very comfy and there was plenty of seating for us in the lounge with two large sofas. There was a vast array of dvds to choose from and a lovely big TV to watch them on .... a real home from home ... so much so that we didn't want to come home. The location of the lodge is great, very peaceful and you had no idea you were on a big holiday site until you walked further down the road. All in all a fantastic weekend away and one to repeat very soon .... thanks Marion 😊

Fantastic property and location!
We loved our stay in Bunting lodge. We enjoyed the cosiness so much we rarely left. The surroundings were beautiful. Husband very much enjoyed the lake being right outside. Perfect little break. Onsite facilities were always very good for a very small cost. We will be back!

Relaxing Getaway Weekend
Lodge is perfect in every way. All you need, great location, private fishing peg and hot tub to boot. Its located in such a quiet area of the grounds but within 5 mins walk you have every entertainment you could need. Danny and Marion answer any questions you have. 100 % we would recommend this place and hope stay again. Thank you so much.

we had a wonderful stay at the lodge and didn't want to go home the lodge was clean, comfortable and spacious, the view was perfect and relaxing we didn't want to leave! we had some minor issue in the property but Marion and Husband sorted it quickly they were fantastic, we will definitely be booking another stay 👍😁

We as a family group, have really enjoyed our time here and would like to say thank you for letting us stay. It's been very windy, the barbecue cover has blown off a few times, also the shield of leaves behind the outside chest, we have put it all back. Fantastic lodge
Had a fantastic 10 day stay in Bunting Lodge, The lodge is clean and homely, kitchen is fully equipped and the beds are comfortable with fragrant bedding, the hot tub is fantastic and inspected daily and ph levels checked by the friendly hot tub guys, the newly built fishing peg is more than large enough for two people to fish from, and we caught carp all week to 15lb 8oz , This is our fourth stay at duck lake and I must say that this is one of the best lodges we have stayed in and fantastic value for money, Huge thank you to Danny and Marion the owners for allowing us to stay in their fantastic lodge

Beautiful.
We all had a wonderful stay. The lodge was in a beautiful setting, in front of the Lake. Couldn’t get enough of the view, even in the rain. There were Swans, geese and ducklings who would come very closely to the lodge. The lodge was spotless clean, very comfortable beds, and everything you needed for a self catering holiday. We made use of the Hot tub , fabulous. Had to ring the owner on one occasion, They response very quick, and issue was resolved very quickly. Thank you. We already planning our next stay.

Lovely relaxing Lodge
Beautifully situated on quiet fishing lake. Fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and lovely lounge. Great attention to detail and bedding smelt divine. Really enjoyed our 4 night stay and could not fault a thing. We would love to return next year. Enjoyed the Prosecco too!! Thank you x

Lovely and relaxing stay
The whole process of renting this property and checking in and out was incredibly easy. The property is situated in a stunning location and the decor and cleanliness is great! We all had the most relaxing time which was definitely helped by the hot tub! The site itself had lots to offer for all ages and it was such a lovely week away. Would definitely recommend!

great weekend
The lodge was everything we could have wanted and more. Close to the bars and entertainment just a few minutes walk. Nice, clean rooms, comfortable beds and the hot tub was a lovely bonus.
