Backwoods Waterfall Bliss

"This is a lovely house, tucked back in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of Linville Falls (and a short drive to Linville Caverns). It had everything we needed. We were there in the summer and got to enjoy the large back deck area. Being up in the mountains, it was cool enough to grill hot dogs and make smores over the fire pit. Delightful. We hope to stay there again in the future, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet mountain getaway."

"Absolutely wonderful stay at Parkview Lodge & Cabins! My boyfriend and I had such a lovely experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They were thoughtful enough to offer us extra towels and even provided water, which made us feel so well taken care of. What really stood out to us was how accommodating and helpful everyone was. We accidentally left my boyfriend’s pillow behind, and they were kind enough to agree to ship it all the way to us in Florida rather than simply leaving us to figure it out ourselves. That level of kindness and customer service is so rare and really says a lot about the people who run this place. The lodge and cabins made our stay feel comfortable, peaceful, and memorable. We’re so grateful for how warmly we were treated and would absolutely 100% recommend Parkview Lodge & Cabins to anyone visiting Avery County, North Carolina. We would happily stay here again! ❤️"

"A cozy cabin in a beautiful area. It was clean, comfortable, and suited our family well. I was glad to be able to use the kitchen that was nicely stocked with the basics, including stainless steel pots and utensils (we try to avoid plastic and Teflon), so that was a pleasant surprise! The kids enjoyed the adjacent campground's arcade room (about a five minute drive or 20 minute walk) from the cabin. Overall, a pleasant stay!"

"I cannot say enough good things about the property and the owners. Everything was as described. The views are amazing, the property is beautiful and clean, and everything was perfect. The location was great for trios to Linville, Banner Elk, Lake James and more. Shopping is not far away and you can get everything you need. Debbie went above and beyond to make sure our trip was a special one. Thank you!"
