"This is hands down the BEST vacation rental i've ever stayed at!! I'm a realtor so I've been in a lottttt of houses- this one exceeded my expectations! I know how photos can be deceiving but this was the best case scenario.. the home and setting was EVEN BETTER in person. Seriously. The views from Debbie's place are truly breathtaking and the house is extremely comfortable and well equipped. I rented this house with 5 of my best friends and the house and setting was so special that we only left once (to visit the Linville Falls Winery-thanks for the recommendations Debbie). We all love to cook and were so impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was! We cooked up a storm the whole weekend and ate every meal out on the incredible porch. I'm also a clean freak and this is the first vacation rental that has EVER been "clean enough" for me. I have so many good things to say about this house, the host, and our stay-Buttery soft sheets, incredible stargazing on the deck, stunning sunsets, spacious clean comfortable home with everything you could possibly want/need. Every detail was thought out and executed to perfection- truly impressed and grateful for the experience we had here. Debbie sets the bar HIGH and she definitely earned this 5 star review. Trust me... you should book this home! We can't wait to return next year!!"

"Awesome place to stay, very convenient, though a bit difficult to find. Google maps got the directions wrong (a first!), you do need to navigate to the North Cove leisure club, then turn left at the Pro house until you arrive at the smaller roads leading to the house."

"Property was very well taken care of newly renovated, with excellent decor. Owner was very responsive. Nice quiet place where my family and enjoyed ourselves and some amazing hiking in the Linville gorge. If your grilling be aware you are in bear country and they may want to come check out what’s for dinner. I would go back in a second."

"We enjoyed our stay & would like to return in the future. Although the leaves were just beginning to change color in the upper elevations, it was still very beautiful. We enjoyed the special touch of the sheep throughout the house, especially the framed tee shirt. Hearing the train pass several times daily reminded me of spending time with my grandparents. Our host was very helpful & his instructions were great."
