"The staff were very helpful and efficient. The public areas were quite grand and impressive. However, some areas were a bit dated and need refurbishment. Our room was clean but dated, in need of attention. For instance, the curtains had a hole in them. The fridge cabinet doors need attention as they didn’t close easily.
On the whole a bit tired, but the staff were very good."
"Stayed 12th-14th june. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean etc. Only one downfall .... I booked a room and they charged me to park in the carpark 😂 , but when you go outside and look at the signs. It says free from Friday to Sunday. But otherwise excellent. I cannot fault the place. It was modern, clean, lively . Very happy and would stay again"
"Good food and a clean and very comfortable room. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The facilities included full spa services including very good facials and the rest of the treatments. The swimming pools were clean and were providing experiences for small children whilst rhe other pool catered for over 18s. It was a relaxed and very comfortable way to spend 24 hours catching up with my sister.
The only down points we found were that we could not open the balcony door even after a strong member of staff had done so and we felt they badly needed a garden designer to I prove the central garden area. They said that the regular gardeners would be coming in but we felt that to really make the most of that area it would need designers and some investment."
"The corridors were a bit tired. People dragging their cases along damaged the wallpaper and it needs replacing. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and the staff were really nice and helpful. Very handy location for getting to Southampton to join a cruise."
