"We loved to stay at this hotel despite other bad reviews. Only big problem the heat. The hotel is not ready when it comes to hot days. There where conditioners but didn't really worked and the rooms where very hot at night and during the day. But breakfast was excellent and so the rest of our stay"

"Staff were friendly throughout. Hotel was clean, well decorated and comfortable. The spa was fabulous and a welcome addition after a day of walking in Winchester. This is likely more of a personal request but since they have communal changing areas, bigger towels for those guests that just can't quite fit normal towels would be an appreciated addition - it's the little things! "Because of our timing we weren’t able to partake in food at the hotel at either end of the day. Unfortunate as the breakfast has always been great, Our room was cool which given the ridiculous heat, was amazing. The staff, as always were courteous and professional. We will continue to use this venue on our overnight stays in the Reading area."
