Stunning! River-Front Log Cabin Near Williamsburg

"We needed a space to sleep 10 and this house did. It is very spacious, we all had our own private space. I also needed space to do some baking for my son's wedding and this house provided 2 spaces to bake! It worked out very well for me. It was really convenient to have 2 ovens and 2 refrigerators to use. There are a couple of suggestions for the kitchens, add kitchen towels and also pot holders. Those items would have been nice to have. The basement was a dream for kids with the various games provided. The outdoor space is also beautiful. We utilized the firepit and also the dock on the river. Very relaxing environment. We also loved how secluded it felt. The location was also close to the wedding venue which made it convenient to deliver all the decorations, cupcakes and cake. This home was exactly what we were looking for, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. James was also great to communicate with, he answered my questions in a timely manner. Check in and out was extremely easy. We highly recommend this Vrbo."

"We really want to thank Jennifer and Gary for a wonderful place to stay! The home is beautiful in a very serene setting! When we checked in we thought it was way in the country, but it is actually very close to everything we needed and very close to all the historical parts of Williamsburg, Jamestown and York!It would be wonderful for several families with children to stay! Most of the bedrooms have private restrooms attached!Jennifer was very prompt answering any questions we had! Very nice people!You will really enjoyed our stay here and recommend it highly!"
"Have stayed at this property for a number of years. Always consistent quality, hospitality, and amenities. Very convenient to Colonial Williamsburg. Current construction of 37 new townhomes is not as intrusive as we thought it may be. This is our first stay in the last 6 years and we were surprised by the new parking fee of $20/day+tax. If that was disclosed in advance, it was not clear on Trivago when we made our reservation. Hidden costs diminish customer satisfaction for what has been a superior experience in the past. Current staff as always are very courteous, welcoming, and helpful. Fitness center is well equipped. Clean, comfortable unit met all of our needs."
"Loved every minute vacationing at the Guest House "Holly Hill" in Charles City, VA! The Saltwater Pool was extremely luxurious and relaxing! Even though we had quite a few days of rain, the sun still came out long enough for us to swim in the pool! The two new managers Justin and Charles were very nice and helpful. This was their first year managing the property and they did an excellent job! Was sad that Steve Rula, Jr has retired and we missed not seeing his smiling face! Wish Steve the best of luck and now he can enjoy relaxing!If you're looking for peace and quiet this is the place where you want to go! Out in the country away from city noise and traffic! You'll love it!"
