Everything about the property was great. Staff, bedroom, breakfast all brilliant. We feel we should have been warned about the scaffolding and plastic sheeting all round the front of the property, which virtually obliterated the view. Providing a bottle of Prosecco and 20% off the our next stay is all well and good, but didn’t mitigate our disappointment, considering it was quite expensive!

Absolutely wonderful stay at this gorgeous b&b.The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful .Will definitely be booking to stay there again and recommending to my friends

if I could give the staff more than 5 stars I would ! they were amazing and very kind. I loved the room and the black book they put together that shows you information about the town and places to go. There are local pubs in walking distance and a tram right down the road. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in both in terms of the gorgeous building with lots of original features and the owners. The owner was really kind and helpful with knowledge on activities and restaurants in the area, the room was fabulous! The cooked breakfast, as a vegetarian was the best I’ve had in a restaurant A brilliant stay I only wish I was staying for longer. I’ll definitely be back

Wonderful stay with excellent views and an amazing breakfast. Only negative, and really nit picking here, was the pressure on the shower in the morning. This should not put anyone off though, as would not hesitate to stay again.

Where to start - a beautiful house, carefully refurbished by lovely caring people. We are well travelled and well seasoned but we had the best night's sleep away from home for decades - the bed was ultra comfortable. The breakfast was high quality food perfectly cooked. I have to say the visiting goats (down off the Orme) made it for us - it elevated our experience from 10/10 to 11/10 - so we are booked to return in June.

Lovely friendly welcoming owners and staff. Very happy to oblige to our needs. Lovely old property which although needs attention outside the inside has been kept lovingly in keeping with it's age and tipped with modern features. Breakfast was cooked to perfection which resulted in, and I speak for myself, having the full English breakfast throughout my stay. Comfortable, warm, lovely rooms which are bright and airy. The staff were so friendly and helpful which made our stay all the more enjoyable.
