Top Llyfrgell Llangefni Hotel Reviews
Tre-Ysgawen Hall
8/10 Good
"Bed room clean. Mattress and pillows on the hard side. Shower room sensors stayed on all night so did not sleep very well. Noise and banging throughout the night, from the dining room below I think, dragging of chairs. Bathroom had recycled soap dispensers with clogged shampoo. Would have been nice to have had small unopened mini bottles for hygiene purposes. Fantastic evening meal and breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely hotel."
The Outbuildings - sleeps 14 guests in 7 bedrooms
8/10 Good
"Lovely big house in the countryside, very comfortable. Great for large families or groups. Lots of space for everyone."
3 Glantraeth Farm Cottage. Pet friendly, ideal base to explore Anglesey.
10/10 Excellent
"excellent property that far exceeded our expectations, beautifully clean with everything we needed and more. can not compliment Ann or the cottage enough, would highly recommend, can't wait to return"
4 Glantraeth Farm Cottage. Ideal base to explore the Isle of Anglesey....
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely little cottage in the most scenic of settings providing access to anglesey. Basic but with all you need as a base. Host was very communicative and it was excellent value in the school holidays. We had an amazing time and would return. Was lovely to wake up to views of snowdonia"
Murmur y Coed - sleeps 5 guests in 2 bedrooms
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay at Murmur Y Coed. The surrounding area is beautiful and the location makes it an ideal base for exploring Anglesey. You feel like you're in the middle of nowhere but in reality you're 10 minutes from Menai which is a perfect mix. As we were there during the heatwave we didn't get much use out of the hot tub but it was a great option to have (doubles as a cold plunge when the weather gets too hot!). As a few reviews have mentioned, the cottage is a little tired and would benefit from a few paint touch ups and a deep clean although the main areas were spotless. We also found the kitchen a little understocked for cooking although it does have all the basics. We really liked the use of refillable kitchen and bathroom products as a good sustainability touch. Overall it's a really lovely place to stay and we would definitely return."
Ty Fferam Bailey: 7‑Bed Farmhouse Sleeping 14 in Bodorgan | Managed by Anglesey Holiday Lettings
8/10 Good
"The house was ideal for our large family, with spacious rooms and a huge garden that the children absolutely loved. We stayed during the recent heatwave, yet the downstairs of the house remained wonderfully cool, making it a very comfortable place to relax. The kitchen was well equipped, with plenty of pots, pans and a large fridge-freezer, although there wasn’t an air fryer as advertised. We also enjoyed eating outside on the large terrace every evening while taking in the stunning views of Snowdon. The location was excellent too, with most beaches and attractions within around 30 minutes’ drive. We had a fantastic stay and would happily return, but our only disappointment came when we tried to book for next year and found that the price had doubled, which unfortunately puts it beyond our budget.!"
The Bull Hotel
8/10 Good
"The lady who checked us in was pleasant, polite and helpful. Rescuing me when I couldn't find our room. Signage to our room number would have been an advantage. The building is old, so no lift. We had a room on the top floor. The toilet was slow to fill, which eventually stopped working by the morning. The shower had great pressure, but no cold water to cool it down, so could be dangerous. We reported both at reception the next morning. Good size room and comfy bed. Bikes felt safe left in car park. No breakfast included, so used the pink cafe across the road. No food being served the night before as a party booked. Plenty of take a way places to choose from in the town. Staff when we left were not as conscious as the lady the previous evening."
The Dog house, a country retreat.
10/10 Excellent
"The Dog House was perfect for a weekend family getaway. We wish we could've stayed longer. It is a traditional cottage that has been modernised to a high standard. The small enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs and had plenty of tables and seating (luckily the weather was nice). It is small but was fine for our family. The location was also great, not far from Newborough Forest and the beach. Would highly recommend!"
Duck House
10/10 Excellent
"What an amazing place. We loved it here and were sad to leave. Ben and Katie made us feel really welcome and the cottage was so homely we settled right in. Great location as first base for walking Anglesey Coastal Path - with great birdlife on the doorstep. Couldn’t have been better and greatly recommended. Many thanks to you both!"
