"A home from home! A tasteful and very welcoming semi-detached cottage that is in a great spot to explore Snowdonia and the North Wales coast. A spacious lounge with open large kitchen area, lots of cooking equipment (but no egg cups) and a lovely wood burner for toasty nights in. All seemed recently decorated (stayed end-Sept '24) and easily could sleep a family/group of eight. Careful parking possible on corner directly outside property, with Cross Foxes pub (serving food + takeaway) around 50m away and local Premier convenience shop (including small Post Office) about 250m from the house. All in all, a quiet and relaxing place to be based, clean cosy and comfortable - we look forward to another visit!"

"The view was spectacular, especially as there was a moorland fire opposite one night which glowed for a few hours. The night sky was also spectacular. I haven;t seen so many stars and planets for decades. It was worth visiting for that alone. Very well organised for dogs especially the deck. Lovely and warm and cosy and heating easy to use. Needs instructions for the cooker though, Drive along the road going up the hill at the back of the village if you like remoteness. You really are in the middle of nowhere. Harlech beach as beautiful as ever and Plas Cafe in Harlech a great viewpoint, Will be back"

"There are no shops nearby unless you have a car. Very secluded area perfect for a weekend getaway from laptops! The hosts are very responsive."

"Great little cottage in a very small village. Close to amenities and local shop has everything you need. Waterfall Close by which was a bonus whilst walking the dog. Nearby railway and very picturesque walks. Cottage itself very clean and tidy has a log burner 2 beds 1 large with ample room entry to 2nd through first. Host went above and beyond as wife's birthday and arranged flowers and bubbly for our arrival. Had a great 5 day break and would recommend to everyone wanting a nice quiet time away from the rat race!.."

"Cosy and comfortable cabin in this holiday village which is near to Coed Y Brenin where we visited daily to bike and walk. Also a short drive to Dolgellau town where there are independent shops, lovely bakeries a d pubs. The outside area was good for lovely views of the surrounding countryside and with a small well kept garden with a conifer hedge to separate it from neighbouring cabins. "
