Worst experience ever - the room smells mouldy and me and my wife felt suffocated just from staying there for 1 hr. We tried everything, opened windows and vented for a long time but the smell keeps coming back. Note that this was the «deluxe» room!
I immediately booked a new hotel and moved for fear of our health. As the contact guy(Carlos) said he didn’t have other rooms available and couldn’t come over to help us. I have saved the entire conversation.
We filed for refund later, they lied that we had smoked in the room and broken rules :(
So just stay away from them, if you want a peaceful vacation. They are not even that cheap. We booked here because we thought they were central, but you get much better quality hotels just 10mins walk. I wish I had investigated that before :(

"Nice little hotel in the centre of Elche. 5-10mins walk to town square. Rooms relatively basic but meet all our needs and were clean. Bathrooms standard but the shower was really powerful which was great! Nice pool area we’re shading from palm trees, drinks reasonably priced."

"Hotel vieillot est pas très propre. Les responsables sont très désagréables ne vous disent même pas bonjour le restaurant au bord de mer est vraiment infecte à des prix exorbitants. Il marque salade de fruits de mer et donne du surimi avec de la mayonnaise. C’est inadmissible seul un agent de sécurité ..."
