A dream romantic weekend away for my boyfriends birthday. The hotel was amazing every step of the way. after booking the hotel, I was in contact with them to make arrangements for a special birthday massage and dinner for my boyfriend, and they managed everything perfectly. Wow, how did you find this hotel, my husbands words when we arrived and it only got better. A very pleasant receptionist brought us to our standard very pretty and spacious room. We then were offered coffee or tea with complimentary home made cakes, fab. We spent an hour or 2 in the fab gardens with loungers and swam in their private area of the lake, dinner on the amazing lakeside terrace was perfect with lovely staff attending. Excellent clean spa area - has wellness spa - indoor and outdoor pools for wellness with water jet high pressure nozzles for back stomach head and neck massage. There is also big I heated out door water pool with nice view. The hotel is up in the mountain with fantastic breathtaking views of Lugano lake. Lugano city is about 40 min bus drive. What a wonderful hotel. Such a beautiful setting and impeccable service. Kudos to the staff for their attention to detail. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

It was very nice however the dining opportunities were very limited in the hotel and the only bar was a cigar bar. Breakfast was amazing though and very conveniently located for getting around.

This was our second time there and hopefullynot the last. The location is fantastic with magnificent views of the lake front. The hotel is very luxurious and well maintained. Breakfast with delicious opitions in the buffet. We were only dissapointed that the outdoor pool was not yet open, in spite of the hot and sunny weather. We asked at front desk when is the outdoor open, and the clerk said they had not dates but in the future sometime.

We stopped for one night on our way to Zurich. A very nice and clean hotel with very friendly staff. Very handy to the old town. Good secure free parking.

I was stopping overnight to break a journey, and it was fine for that. Comfy bed and the owners were friendly and welcoming. But the room was too warm and I couldn't have the window open (at least to start with) because there was a very noisy fan just below my room.
