"Close to Howe and in a decent area. Starbucks is nearby, so that was handy. Rooms were a nice size. Shower and bathroom a little small, but it’s downtown Vancouver. Nice open courtyard in the centre, available parking and a soft bed. Overall good stay."

"This hotel is right inside UBCV. We booked it during our daughter’s move-in weekend at the university so it made things very convenient for us. The young man at the front desk (forgot his name but pretty sure he’s Filipino as I heard him speak Tagalog) was super helpful. He was able to sort out the issue with our parking when we were not allowed to go out back to the hotel’s basement parking on September 5th during the uni’s move-in day. They blocked access but did not acknowledge our rights as hotel guests to our paid parking at the basement. I was very upset at the lack of decorum and obvious lack of information that UBCV student-volunteer had when she just staunchly directed us to a public parking spot. The young man at the front desk of this hotel was quick to get the issue resolved and we were able to make it to our paid parking slot. A huge shoutout to his professionalism! As for the hotel itself, our room was impeccably clean. It had a fully equipped kitchen, newly renovated bathroom, and was so large it could fit more than 4 people easily. The only downside was they did not have live TV. We could not watch the US Open during our stay. And of course, parking had to be paid separately. But the cheap laundromat on-site was a perk that made up for that! We will certainly stay here again."
