"For a four star it was good. Thumps up. only a few things that should not spoil it for you... 1. Only 1 heated pool in the Autumn. 2. For meals you are told where to sit, rather than choosing for yourself. (I felt like a school child, after queuing to get in the dining hall) And a member of senior staff, very rude, for a chair that was not allocated to a table that we wanted to sit on. Very bizarre, on every meal. The food was very good. 3. The other staff including reception, were great. "

I stayed after getting off a cruise and was allowed access to my room at 10am, this was really appreciated. Would definitely return to the hotel. It is beside a beautiful beach and lovely coastal walk."

"It's simple and beautiful hotel. Small but has almost everything you need for your stay. They provide breakfast but no lunch nor dinner. Still it is ok because there are many dining choices in the area. Had ocean view room with balcony where you can see the sun rise and starry sky. Located on a steep slope so that you need a taxi to get there w/ luggage. "We had a lovely time in Fuencaliente, the Pensión is clean, well equipped and light and the area is quiet. Owner is very friendly . There’s lots to do especially if you like walking and amazing scenery. Good restaurants in town or you can do simple cooking in the appartment .
