Excellent location. Room was very small. Bed against window, no space to get into bed on far side. Shower small with sloping roof so my husband could not stand straight. No milk for tea, otherwise good provisions. Not suitable for large people or elderly. No lift. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Good communication with Bob W staff but all of our requests were unable to be addressed. Could not get onto WiFi and could not access TV

Unfortunately, there is no space in Hyde park rooms for such machine and this is something we cannot offer. You can do better
The 'Pocket' sized room is impossibly small. The room was up four flights of stairs - with no lift. You are provided a code for the front door and then have to use an online portal to open an interior code and then the room door (via swiping your phone) What happens if you have sub-standard internet service? Our room door wouldn't lock at one stage. I waited 2 mins 30 secs for someone to pick up the phone - they couldn't solve it. Thankfully my wife contacted the hotel via What's App and this was solved quickly. What happens if you don't have What's App? It costs 30 GBP to have the shoe-box of a room cleaned. You can't simply turn on the television - it requires fiddling around with WIFI and a password - which is provided by the hotel. We couldn't get this to connect so gave up. It's a great location near Paddington Railway Station - put the effort in and find something better.

I loved it but I also didn't
I did and I didn't enjoy my stay here but the location is excellent. I had a front room with a lovely view of the opposite tree lined street. The building and room are very modern. The bathroom is tiny, and luckily it was only me so I could shower with the door open to let hot air out. The shower base also needed plunging so the tub would fill up which wasn't pleasant. I also had issues with the tv working, which wasn't a huge deal but late at night some nights I wanted to chill out. The bed was passable but not the most comfortable. I could hear the person in the room next door and their phone alarm going off and message tones which was annoying sometimes. I could also hear the elephants upstairs. Like most buildings in the UK the walls are thin and insulation just isn't a thing. I had no issues getting in with the Salto lock system except one night I lost one nights accomodation at the cost of $288 AUD because my phone was stolen on Oxford street on July 22nd and because they have the no key system, I couldn't get back into my room so that was a waste of money and I was not happy about that. I would prefer a refund for that. Overall, good location and pleasant stay but if I found comparable location at a better price I'd probably stay somewhere else.

Fresh concepts with perfect location
Fantastic location, very clean & fresh concept with no desk check-in. Great value for the area. We loved this was a quiet neighborhood but still close to Paddington Station, Hyde & Kensington Gardens.

very nice, clean and comfortable. You need a cellphone to get in the door, unless you call and make special arrangements. Also, you can't leave your luggage and pick it up later...So it was a bit inconvenient overall, compared to a hotel.

You needed a cell phone and stable internet connection to got into the hotel!! Pro: Location: walking distance to tube system, many shopping and dining choices around. Room is clean, our room was on third floor, facing away from street... quiet, peaceful and with a few pigeons hanging outside the window. Water pressure is excellent, hot/cold water almost instant. There is no staff on site, but responses from What's app were quick. Cons: Getting into the hotel is challenging. It become intuitive AFTER you learn how it operate. We got email for front door access code and got in w/o issue. There was another locked door right after we entered and no keypad. Internet connection at that area was weak/unstable (at least on my phone). We got locked between doors and did not know how to proceed. Luckily a couple came in a few minutes later and showed us how to access the door with the phone. The room is small, even by European standard. The bathroom is even smaller, the shower area is 2 feet by 3 feet. The whole bathroom width is about 3 feet wide. There is no lift, the stair case is narrow and steps are incremental higher. I felt like having a cardio work out by the time reaching 3rd floor with a carry on suitcase. Internet did not work, A/C did not work, contacted staff via What's app. Ended with sharing next room's net/ "We will have someone look at the A/C tomorrow". We opened the window and fixed the A/C i

It was in a quiet neighborhood and staff are very nice. They don’t have lifts so I recommend requesting lower floor if you have heavy luggages. Overall I enjoyed this place with eclectic vibe. They also have chargers, plenty of outlets, Polaroid camera, yoga Matt and yummy snacks.

Bob W Hyde Park is a lovely small hotel about 10 mins walk from Paddington Station. The room was spotless and the attention to detail impressive (yoga mat, converter plug, welcome basket, polaroid with film, games console, excellent coffee, etc). The bed was very comfortable. This is London so the room was small but very well organised. The keyless entry took some getting used to, but the response time to inquiries on what's app was virtually immediate. There were 2 lovely pubs and several quaint and good breakfast places with 2 blocks. It is extremely well located with at least 3 bus stops within an easy walk, plus the Paddington underground. And for a bit of nature, Hyde park is 2 blocks away. Loved it.

The apartment hotel is conveniently located about 2-3 blocks from Paddinton station. The area is super quiet and there are a lot of good food and pub options. Connecting to central london are super easy as well.

Great value and service!
Had a relaxing stay at Bob W. Room was bigger than expected and everything was In perfect condition. Location was an 8 minute walk to Paddington Station and Hyde Park. The hip restaurants of Notting Hill were also not far. Exceptional service from Bastien who went out of his way to troubleshoot tech issues. Very good value for money and eco-conscious as well. Stay there!

The location is fabulous. Easy to get anywhere! The rooms were quiet. However, the experience was inconsistent. Their email support before I arrived was pretty useless…didn’t offer to help at all with my booking changes. However, when I landed the person on WhatsApp updated my arrival time so I could check in early which I really appreciated. I was fine with a micro room, but the room wasn’t really functional. You can’t open the bathroom door because of the rug which you can’t move because it’s on top of the bed. When I did try to move it I saw his filthy it was which was gross. Also the shelf over the bed was disgustingly dirty. The shower had hot water for about ten seconds (not an exaggeration) and never saw it again for my 3 night stay. No conditional or face cloths provided. The room was so cold on my first night that I had to sleep with my parka on. The faqs say there is spare bedding in the room, which isn’t true. They also say that there is a free luggage room. Also not true. When I asked about it I was sent to a local shop where we’d have two free hours of storage. Except you need to pay a service fee…when I mentioned that on WhatsApp they ignored me. The in room amenities were cute and I appreciated the tote bag. Not sure who the marketing is targeted to; I’m not a prude by any stretch but the hashtag put me off posting. Overall, interesting concept but lacking in delivery. I did not get what I paid for. the property is very new. with that came some issues and they have proven that the staff there will do everything to solve and address an issue you might have. since m stay was on the 2nd week of opening i am sure after one or two weeks from now all the issues will be resolved. my stay was overall pleasing.

Intolerable noise
Zero noise insulation between floors and two nights without sleep. I could hear the guest above walking around as if he were stomping, I could hear their shower and talking on the phone. Do not stay here if you enjoy a quiet hotel.

Bob W Hyde Park was a fantastic location right in the centre of London and just a short walk to the "Lizzy Line", which made moving around super easy. The area was also super quiet at night, so you could get a great night's sleep even if you got a room facing the street. Bob W is just a safe bet for me now.

Very British property. Keyless entrance, no reception, and everything are on your phone. Very cozy apartments, well designed. And Bob is very attentive. Walking distance to Paddington station, a few nice places to have a dinner or good breakfast. Amazing neighborhood to have an evening walk or listen to morning birds. Highly recommend.
