Website photos bear no resemblance to reality, does that make Expedia complicit in misrepresentation. I was guided by the photos on your site, should have checked Trust Pilot, so shoujd the trade. Bedroom awful, advertised amenities not there: restaurant and bar. Every other person staying there complaining. Noisy room, no double glazing and next bedroom residents not noisy but we could easily have had a conversation through the wall. Disgusted.

I have a conference at the Royal Lancaster and this hotel was just a few hundred yards away - so convenient! Only issue was that breakfast was at 7:30 but I had to be at venue for 7:00 ! Other than that was a comfortable stay and would stay again!

The hotel is in a good location
But inside is very out dated and the bed is very uncomfortable and the bathroom is very out dated

I was very disappointed with this old & rundown hotel. It was substandard with very little heat, broken tiles, holes in the carpets and furniture. The front desk clerk was less than helpful & no early check-in allowed. The location is good, the bedding seemed clean, breakfast ok. Not good value at all.

Hotel is loacted near rhe city center so its accessible to go near the tourist spot. comfort room is a mess. Bed is uncomfortable. Heater is not functioning well. Breakfast is fine

Great location. Hotel is right next to Lancaster Gate underground station. The hotel is showing it's age, and many would say it needs renovating. But for me, I like stepping back in time. It was clean, comfortable, friendly staff, and decent value.

Welcome was lacking any warmth, the hotel is in poor condition and dirty, the external area bares no resemblance to the photos on Hotels.com and desperately requires redecoration. Interally the bathroomwas the worst I have ever stayed in, old, broken tiles, since, bathseals really bad, wonky lights, threadbare carpet. was not worth £130 a night

The hotel was clean, but definitely could use some fixing up -- drapes, caulking in bathroom, lighting, but it was comfortable and everyone was pleasant Breakfast was good

The staff were extremely polite and helpful. We had a suite and although it’s dated was large and very accommodating.no central air conditioning and we were there during heat wave given portable A/C location is excellent walked most places underground 2min walk

This is NOT a 4 star hotel. I feel totally mis sold on this fact and will be reviewing it as a 4 star hotel. The photos are very mis-leading and must have been took some years ago.
The deco of the hotel is very tired and shabby. It must have last been decorated in the early 90's. The matrass on our bed had a large metal spring exposed causing me to scrape my leg on it.
The breakfast on offer was very limited and no cooked breakfast was available.
On a positive note the the hotel room was clean and the room spacious. It is in a great location 1 min away from the Italian Garden in Hyde Park and Lancaster Gate Underground station.
Hotel in general needed maintenance done...carpet, paint, etc. Breakfast needs to have juice option. Staff cleared plate off tables and replaced food that was taken in a timely manner but never wiped down the tables after omeone had eaten there. Place mats had tea/coffee stains. Lots of crumbs. Not very conducive to enjoying a meal. AIr conditioning in our room did not work for the 4 nights we were there and were told parts couldn't be gotten for a week. Fan moving 90 degree (31 celcius) air didn't help much. Very convenient to bus/underground and nice park.

The staff were friendly and helpful but the rooms were dated and smelled a bit musty. The beds weren’t terribly comfortable, and the bathroom was really unpleasant. The breakfast didn’t look very appealing so I ate elsewhere. Great neighborhood, but I am glad to have only stayed one night.

Hotel itself is in bad need of repair, and badly needing modernisation in all areas. Definitely not worth the money the hotel is charging at the minute on booking sites. Hotel could be so much better given the ideal area it sits in being right beside Hyde Park, local tube station, and Paddington 5 minutes away.

I booked this Regal Beauty Accomodation again after staying there in 2007
She is no beauty now inside or out. Unkempt facade with paint peeling of building and fences. Steps are needing a good clean also.
Inside room carpet was threadbare and curtains dirty. No working phone no working Airconidtioner and very weak.
WIFI.
Upside the beds were clean and comfy. The staff where lovely and very accomodating.

Hotel didn’t answer the phone when trying to contact them ahead of arrival. The room was dirty and the bathroom was disgusting. Cracked tiles, limescale all over the shower fitting, shower door broken, mirror cracked. Disappointing

Great location by the entrance to Hyde Park. Breakfast is a continental style now since Covid. I’ve stayed here before and feel very safe walking around the area alone. It’s an old building that could use some upgrades, but I’d stay here again if in London. Front desk are very helpful.
