Great Location and Fits the Bill
This was exactly what I needed, though it would have been nice if I could get the tv to work. It’s small but I didn’t need much and the location was top notch. If you’re looking for something fancy and planning to spend a lot of time in your room it may not be ideal, but it’s safe, clean, and serves its purpose well.

Staircase and bath are somewhat narrow (as probably everywhere in London). It also seems to take a lot of effort to keep the sidewalks clean. Everything else ist excellent. Highly recommendable.

Nice location and comfortable bed within a minute walk to high st. Room was clean and well presented, I would stay there again. Staff were friendly and happy to help.

The room was tilted
The room was clean, but I think the room was tilted. In addition, the woman at the reception was unfriendly and could not provide tourist information.

Dear guest! I'm very sorry that you feel our receptionist was unfriendly. We discussed the matter with our reception staff and there is no excuse kindness is what we put on our flagg. Normally our guest felt exceptional in guest experience but we make some changes to keep our standard. Regarding the room size there is no tilted room. The house is an Victorian house built in 1890 but we are checking the room every day and could not find a tilted room. Thank a lot for your time to review our hotel. LKH Managment

Stay away from this hotel. Very dirty
I never did stay at the hotel but was charged. The manager told me i need to pay cash even though my card was slready charged. I left because i dont want to pay again since my card was already charged.

Dear Ms Thompson! You arrived at our hotel and I ask for your passport to identify you and your booking. You start to feel uncomfortable with this. I explained you very kind that it is the law in England for hotels to show me your passport. Then I ask for payment either cash or credit card and you told me that you paid already with Expedia. You could not show me your payment. We tried to call many times the customer service from Expedia but failed. In my confirmation booking I showed you it is written "Hotel Collect Booking - Collect Payment From Guest". You kept your opinion that you have paid already because Expedia stored your credit card and you never give a credit card to the hotel. In our booking system it shows not paid, Balance outstanding. I was even so kind to give you a room and wanted it to sort out later. I saw already you and your child were very tired and I even let you choose some of our rooms and offered you tea or water. We cleaned and clean our room daily and just cleaned very deep with steam cleaner the whole hotel to get ready for our customer. The rooms and the reception were super clean. The problem here is you don't understand your booking. Expedia confirmed next day by phone that we did every thing correct to ask to take the payment from the guest. Even they told me if the guest can't provide the payment evidence we can let them go straight but I was so kind to look after you and your child. I feel very humiliated and will report how you treat our hotel to write such a review which has nothing to do with the cleanliness nor that you have been charged twice. I'm really shocked about your review. Maybe you mix the review with the hotel were you left the same day in Cambridge which you talked to me was very dirty. You should really check your review instead to damage our business. Lord Kensington Hotel Management

Times are difficult and different in this time of Covid and Dennis, the manager handled things very well. The hotel has such a wonderful location for good ready to eat food (go to the PRAT or Co-Op near by) and ideal for getting on the Underground. My room was upgraded to a cheerful, clean, quiet and bright double. Simple but all I needed. Some of the programs on British TV are superb. At 53 pounds a night it was wonderful. Conditions did not allow for someone to always be at the front desk but by merely ringing the bell out front someone came right to open the door. I had several things that Dennis patiently looked up and printed directions to. The place was mostly vacant which is a shame because every time I return to London I will hope to stay there again.

This is described as luxury rooms which in my view this is far from the truth BUT it was adequate for our needs but does need some updating. The bathrooms are very small but our room was a decent size.

Clean and adequate for short stay
Really nice staff and great location and price---- so perfect for our short layover in London. Three of us in one room too cramped for more than a night. WIFi , though free, was spotty so tough if you don't have European roaming. Clean but definitely an older building. Need to do the multiple tries for the flush to happen!

Poorly laid out and small.
Clean and well maintained. Bathroom in a stupid layout so you couldn't actually sit down on the toilet. Sloping roof above the bed giving no headroom on one side.

The location was good and just a 2 min walk to Earles Court station. The family room was spacious and fairly clean. There was no matress protector on the double bed and my request for one to be supplied was unanswered. No pillow protectors either. Had to request replacement pillows as well.

Extremely well priced. Extremely well located. Room was extremely inconvenient -- no place to put cases, only one position from which to read or watch TV (the same place!) -- owing to management's decision to store an extra bed in the room. This may mean extra revenue in high season, but for us it meant inconvenience and discomfort.

Booked at short notice as I needed a cheap overnight stay in Central London. The room was small but clean and perfectly adequate for me. The bathroom was small but very clean and had obviously been recently refurbished. I was able to check in earlier than the 2pm time stayed. The desk staff were polite and efficient.

Poor service, standibg at the front desk for 15 minutes while tje check in attendant slept, tried to wake him successfully on my third try, he then had difficulty finding our reservation, handed us our key card wordlessly with out even a directing us where the room was overall poor experience, pay the extra money for a nicer place to stay.

Great location. While elevator inside, there are 6 steps up from sidewalk without a banister. Desk person got us transportation to airport, not a taxi and said price would be about 19 pounds. He meant, 90 apparently. No ice available nor drinks. No breakfast included which seems to have been a recent change.

The hotel is a lovely old building set in a historical part of town. The rooms, bathrooms and lobby are small but have everything you need. We came early and the clerk held our baggage until check in time. There is a clerk on duty 24 hours a day so check Nice Hotelin and check out are a breeze.

We just stayed here from 8/8/17 - 8/12/17. It was in a convenient location with the Earl's Court tube station around the corner and several restaurants and convenience stores within short walking distance. The room had basic amenities, but we didn't mind this since we knew we would spend most of our time out and about. We weren't able to check in early or check out late but they did let us leave our bags at the front desk while we enjoyed more time in London. The front desk always had someone at it and they locked the front door if they had to step away to check on something. We were happy with our stay. If you are looking for a more luxurious hotel with more amenities, I do not recommend this hotel. However, if you are looking for a hotel with the basics and conveniently located to the tube, restaurants, pubs, etc. I definitely recommend it.

The room was clean but it big for three of us. There was a bathtub but wasn't plug to fill the hot water. So, we couldn't use it. Also, there was no breakfast. We got out to have it.

Don't stay here ! terrible small rooms. Bathroom was so small if you sit on toilet your chin is in the wash basin......NO airconditioning. No place in room to open luggage except if you say suitcase on bed...typical asian management....cheap cheap cheap....not represented truthfully at all on hotels.com would never stay here again.....

Great location but everything else was sub par. Indifference at the front desk vs helpfulness, bed was like sleeping on a very hard futon, no sheets but only a duvet (which was too hot), walls are thin so hearing other guests was constant. As well, because the rooms back on to the underground/subway you clearly hear -- all day and most of the night -- the rumble of the cars on the tracks, as well as the announcements of the train arrivals. No screens on the windows either so opening them meant flying insects and bugs flying into the room. Again, the location was amazing but not a pleasant stay. 3/10
