Absolute gem in a super convenient and upscale neighborhood. You can get anywhere by tube bus or any other means of transportation from the No. Sixteen Hotel and the staff was always welcoming. It felt more like being home than a hotel. The amenities were also great. Would stay there again in a heartbeat and will recommend it to anyone traveling to London.

Room was very very very small. So small it was difficult to walk around the bed. Hard to write at desk because so close to bed. Could hear the neighboring guests through the wall. Even their was beautifully decorated it was absolutely not a functional room. Actually for the price it was an absurd experience.

This is a great hotel! Beautifully decorated, helpful staff, excellent breakfast and fantastic location. 10min walk to Chelsea, south Ken tube around the corner, 5 minutes to museums…highly recommend!!! The rooms are small, but very well appointed, and it is London after all! All the rooms are small! The bed was also super comfy…we will be back!!

I love the location. It is close to everything either through tube access or walking distance. The hotel is tastefully decorated and the staff are friendly, professional, and always very pleasant.

Number Sixteen is the most charming wonderful hotel to stay. We were a family of six staying for a week over Christmas and they made it special by having Christmas stockings for the children (teenagers) and quality gifts under the tree. The breakfast was a highlight too. Location is perfect for walking to the Kings Rd, Kensington Palace, Nottinghill, V&A, Natural History Museum and Harrods. Would definitely stay here again and Kit Kemp styling of the hotel is charming.

Number Sixteen
Number Sixteen is in a great location near the tube and some lovely cafes and watering holes and shops.The staff are very attentive and will answer your every call. They were PERFECT. I do think the structure needs a tweaking, not in its appearance, but in its infrastructure. I got a cold and needed a HOT shower; I made do with the lukewarm showers the previous days. The evening I felt ill, when I needed that HOT shower most of all, it wasn't there. By the next day, someone had looked at it and the problem was solved. So, whatever threw off the boiler before I arrived at Number Sixteen should have been looked into before the next set of guests arrived, which happened to be me. I've stayed at this hotel before. So this was surprising. I think the adjustments must be made to insure all systems are functioning optimally before new guests arrive in order to keep up with the high standards that Number Sixteen sets for itself. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay at Number Sixteen.

I stayed at #16 when it was a B&B and liked the discreet, homely feeling. Continental breakfast came with the stay and was served in the room back then. It has changed ownership and management and expended into a boutique hotel. the discreet and homely ambiance remaied, and the new owner seems very focused on its visual appeal and gave the hotel a unique touch. I would suggest that more focus should be placed on its infra-structure, e.g. the plumbing and heating system and the amenities, if she wants to claim the hotel as a 5Star hotel. It is not good when the boiler broke down so the guest was deprived of a hot shower in winter. It is not pleasant when the heating unit does not automatically make adjustment so that it was either too warm or too cold in the room. Granted that the staff tried very hard to make amends with small gifts, I believe that the customer would prefer basic amenities, like a consistently well regulated heating system, a hot shower when desired, and free bottled water available instead of rationing it to a 330ml bottle per day! Those are basic requirements to be considered in a 5Star hotel.

I love this place and its charm. We were unfortunately put in an attic room which required stair-walking after an elevator (lift) ride. Not great, but manageable until the elevator died - and for 2 days we walked up and down 3-4 flights of stairs. Ugh! No drink on the house was offered as a gesture of acknowledgement. 😢

The staff here is very responsive and hekpful. Location is superb for museums and a 2 minute walk from the metro. Well kept property. Only downside was i chose a single room which was really tiny.
