Excellent value, Pragmatism extreme
Room was just as advertised, nice and clean and tidy. Booked 3 nights for a business trip, and the room met all my needs, a place to stay at night, a clean toilet and shower, and a lovely breakfast in the morning. All for a very friendly price. Staff were friendly and took my requests and questions into consideration as well. Couldn’t recommend more for someone who values utility over unnecessary luxury.

Lovely little place
The staff we spoke to whilst there were all friendly and helpful. Our room was clean when we arrived, some stains found on the base of the beds, what looked like burn marks on some parts of the carpets. But overall a lovely little place to stay, close to Victoria coach station and also the underground.

When we got there, they showed us to our room then five minutes later they knocked and made us change rooms. They booked us in a room at the very top of the property, at least five flights of stairs. The heating wasn’t working when we got back at about 11 pm and there was no one at the front desk to talk to. The room was super tiny and felt like I was a prisoner at the top of a tower. Really terrible experience and I will pay more for anything nicer next time.

Good location, room was clean and a decent size. Check in quick and easy. There was heavy rainfall and the ceiling was leaking in both bedroom and en suite, also one light was hanging off the wall.

Good central location. I had booked the OYO Bakers hotel for a friends 40th. The gentleman on reception was excellent. I had bought banners to put up in the room, which he was happy to do. He decorated the room further with balloons for us. Rooms were clean and tidy. Water pressure was fine.

Nice staff, great location, needs revamped
Hotel is great 5/10min walk from Victoria Station. Staff friendly on desk however never seen anyone else, either at breakfast or cleaning the rooms. 3 night stay and had 1 large towel and 1 small towel that wasn't changed. Stayed on top floor and no aircon but room had a large fan that had to remain on all night due to incredibly close conditions. Overall cleanliness of room was poor; stained curtains and wall, holes in ceiling and bathroom needed remedial work done in certain areas. However location was the main reason I chose this and price was competitive to area and time of visit.

Wouldn’t stay again
We were situated in a very small room right by the entrance to the hotel which was very noisy, the bathroom was a bit grubby and it was generally very small, the room and the bathroom. The worst bit was we ended up with massive bites all over us from the bed, don’t expect to have bed bugs in a hotel bed!

Great location
1st time have stayed at this hotel. Very comfortable, and a good size, for a london hotel, great location, 10 minute walk from the appollo theatre which is why we chose this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast had a good choice. Will book again if visit london again.

Budget B&B - not really a hotel
Better described as a budget B&B than a hotel. Bed was very comfortable. Pink stain on 1 pillow. Otherwise quite clean. Breakfast was cheap own brand sliced bread and plastic packaged pastries. Expect better quality food from a chain hotel. Staff were fine and the stay went smoothly.

Quiet neighborhood, not far from Victoria
Great quiet location. The gentleman checked us in and stayed there was fabulous. He helped get our COVID test shipped out & recommended tourist attraction. The room was small as described but I was surprised at how small. We only slept there so tolerated that well. My only issue was it was so hot in the room. He gave us an extra fan but still really to hot for me. I think that’s more mother natures fault than the hotel or staff.

Nightmare at OYO
I made a reservation 12 months in advanced and was arriving late. When i arrived, the hotel clerk checked my reservation and told me OYO had cancelled it without attempting to contact me and resold to somebody else because the payment amount wasn't right. He then called his manager who started to shout at him over the phone for calling him so late (it was around midnight) and told him to deal with it. I was then given the option of paying an additional £80 for 2 box rooms or to go and sleep on the street. I paid the additional money. The breakfast included was nice.

PROS- initially a friend and myself where nervous as the price was amazingly cheap for 2 nights (25th-27th) We where wrong to be nervous. The area is very quiet, we had a front facing room and neither of us could hear traffic or drunken chants. The hotel is situated perfectly. Victoria Station took less than 10minutes to walk to, it took us 30minutes to walk to trafalgar square (it would of taken quicker) but we where admiring the buildings as we walked. If people don't like walking, there's bus stops practically every 50 foot. There are cafes and some basic shops within a couple minutes walk. Extremely clean, we've stayed in 1 star to 5star hotels and this hotel had the cleanest bathroom we've ever seen. The cleanliness levels of the room where apsolutely perfect. Room size was on the small side but that matches the price so no complaints there. We had twin beds, both where very comfy. Breakfast was relaxed, nice range of cereals, juices/drinks and pastries. Customer service was perfection. The main man that basically runs it, I feel terrible for forgetting his name, was an apsolute star. Nothing was too much trouble. He was extremely polite and pleasent. We will definitely be staying again. The only reason I am writing a couple of cons next is for the benefit of other people. CONS- (not for us) No lift- there's stairs leading down to the kitchen and to all the floors. Small bathroom-room bathroom is on the small side. If your Obese you will struggle. TV loses reception.

The property was recently renovated and is lovely. We had a double/twin with en-suite (room 4) While small was very accommodating. Beds are comfortable, a fluffier pillow would be nice 😋. Room was quiet and hot water plentiful. We opted to sleep with the window open so a bit noisy early morning but if your doing it right you’re tired enough it doesn’t matter 😃. We did find it odd that the room was not attended to daily. It seemed every other day the duvee was just pulled up and trash emptied. Located just a few blocks from Victoria Station makes access to everything quick and easy We did not take advantage of the continental breakfast however did take a peek and the dining room is neat and tidy and the food (cereal, fruit, breads, meats, juice...) looked fresh. All of the reception staff seemed very nice and attentive only *issue I had, while checking out early morning, man at counter had headphones on and was watching porn 😒 1 - eww. 2 - I don’t think he realized he had the sound set to headphones and speaker. 3 - eww. 4- I’m glad my young traveling companion detoured to coffee and didn’t see that Extremely inappropriate and may very well remove this lovely OYO Hotel from my travel list

It’s a traditional British hotel, so be warned, there are a lot of stairs. Our room was very clean and decently maintained. It sometimes took a bit to get hot water running but once it did, the temperature did not fluctuate. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to a major underground station and there are some stores there and a food court which is convenient. The character of the building and neighbourhood is fantastic.

The location was perfect. The hotel has been newly renovated. Staff were great and the free breakfast suited our needs. We had room 12 which had a double and a single. Although cramped, the location made it all worth while. Just a bit of constructive criticism and certainly not a complaint - We felt more shelves in the cupboard and maybe in the bathroom would help. And I repeat - other than that we loved our stay.

Pleasant place to stay, room was somewhat small but manageable. The bathroom shower was also small and there is no A/C here nor a fan. We opened the window but only went up halfway, thankfully the weather was pleasant but street was noisy. Breakfast was not really much for options at all, but nice to have something to start. Many stairs to climb as well, but wi-fi was working well.

This is one of the noisiest, most uncomfortable hotels I’ve stay at. There was also marks all over the walls and it wasn’t very clean.

A good budget option with clean rooms, albeit very small (our two small suitcases took up all the floor space, making it difficult to get around the room or even open the bathroom door etc). There was also no wifi for the 3 days of our stay. The owner claimed that wifi was out in the entire area and not the fault of the hotel, which may have been true (I have no way to know) - however, as a foreign traveler without cell phone data, not having wifi in the hotel was definitely inconvenient.
