So sorry to have a leave a negative review, because the staff was friendly and really tried to be helpful. The room was standard inexpensive London en-suite, something I'm very familiar with, and it was fine.
But I was there two days and the Wifi just didn't work. It wasn't just unreliable, which is how it started; it just wouldn't load pages and information. My room was in the basement, and sometimes it would work in the lobby... until I went to my room. The staff tried to show me it was working, but I even invited them down to the room to witness it. They said they would restart the router, etc, and when I returned after going out the first day they said it was fixed and of course in my room it wasn't. I'm a computer tech and I support phones all day and there wasn't any issues with my phone or iPad. I finally had to go stand outside at the corner pub to use their wifi and book a new room with Hotels.com. Even getting internet through my cellular connection on my phone was spotty at best; I'm guessing the location of the room played a big part. I asked them to move me to a new room and they told me they had nothing free.
They sent me an email after I left and again stated the internet was fine. For me, I can't be in a new city and not be able to use Google maps or other info I can only get online. They need new routers and one for the downstairs area, IMHO; and then there would be no reason not to stay here.
