This property is not what I expect from Expedia. The room looks like it was decorated in the 70's. Guests have been smoking in the room for so many years everything is yellow. The soft surfaces smell like smoke. I'm glad I only stayed 1 night.

We arrived and were greeted well. The room we were directed to was terrible. The staircase filthy and the actual room OMG. My children cried as we walked in. It smelt and was so hot. We checked the room and found ‘something’ on the window sill. The floor, walls were filthy and the bed base had a questionable stain. The bathroom was like a caravan bathroom which had been dropped in to the room. I had to find another hotel to stay at. After asking for a refund I was told to go through the booking company. After a lot of going back and forth I finally received a refund. The other hotel cost me £30 more and included a clean room and full unlimited breakfast

Hands down the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Filthy. Absolutely no effort made to clean. We had rubbish under the beds after previous guests.

67 steps up a windy narrow staircase carrying a small suitcase, hoping that my 85 yr old father wouldn,t fall on the way up. Not ideal for anybody with breathing difficulties / asthma. No teaspoon, one saucer for 2 cups, bedding clean but only 1 pillow each. TV kept going off, shower drain needs some Mr Muscle drain unblocker put down it as I was worried I was going to flood the tiny bathroom. Lovely coffee at breakfast. All in all £45 well spent. A few tweaks needed and a warning that a lot of stairs and no lift would be better on the website.
