Awful place with disgraceful customer service
The place itself isn’t bad if you remove the fact there were dead bugs in the shower and the room smelt disgusting. The biggest issue we are still facing is the disgraceful customer service. The £200 deposit still hasn’t been refunded back to my account, despite it being 17 working days (almost 4 weeks) since check out. Every time I inquire I’m told “it’s on it’s way”. Awful awful place and not worth the hassle. Also the photos they provide look nothing like where you’ll stay. Despite all the shocking places I’ve stayed in, I’ve never left 1 negative review so I hope this puts things into perspective. Please just don’t waste your time here.

Bring your eye mask
Uncomfortable from the start as I was asked to email photo ID, a selfie and my card details. There has been a £200 pending from my account since I stayed 3 nights ago however today it has come out of my account! (Will chase this today) There is a window too high up for me to pull the blind and there is some kind of security/street light on the other side. This illuminated half the room, glad a took my eye mask!

There was no hair dryer,the shower was extremely tiny,if you are a tiny bit over the average size of a normal person,you will not fit in the shower. The different codes to remember to get in is a bit of a hassle.

A challenging stay.
Was not sent the key codes, but fortunately read a review that said you must have them. Phoned and was given them, but had I not done so, we would have been stuck. The loo stank and the machinator came on at 5am, found the isolator switch and was able to turn it off. Fecal matter was continually backing up into the bowl, not nice. Blinds do not cover windows so bring an eye cover. The key codes were temperamental and on one evening 1.30am after failing to gain entry we had to return to our friends and ask them to come back and try for us. After three attempts they got us in, but by then it was 3am! You get what you pay for, but though the loos were bad, it was the main door lock that really spoilt things for us.

The sign in/security deposit service was terrible after hours of taking photos and phone calls, we had to end up giving my bank details over the phone!. After all of that we got into our room to find it wasn't anything like the photos. The bed was broken and i was unable to fix it and from the looks of it someone had tried to fix it with duct tape! while under the bed I also noticed a lot of dust and dirt. The toilet was tiny and having long legs made the job of sitting down on the toilet extremely hard the flush was also very loud and weak, with a very unpleasant odour coming from it. There was also a street light outside that the blinds did nothing to hide the shine from. The only good thing I can say about this room is that it was in a great location.

Will not be going back!
The check in process was very long and complex. The WiFi was useless, couldn't get on anything. The room was also very noise and could hear people talking and from the street, day and night. The apartment had also a sofa so badly stained that I couldn't even dream of sitting on it. Will not be going back!

Basic accommodation in a good location
We only wanted a place to stay the night as we were going to be out all day so to this respect, the place had all we need it. The apartment was cleaned and equipped with a kitchen and bathroom. We were in the basement together with other 4 apartments and the only problem was that you could hear everything. So it could be quite noisy in the mornings when people getting up and leaving the apartments.

Absolutely terrible
Pretty terrible place to stay! Major warning to anyone who thinks they can get a cheap deal and stay in somewhere relatively nice. These 'studios' are basement apartments and there is no ventilation. Walls are paper thin so you can hear the people next to you. We paid for a room with a sofa and did not receive one. We were moved into a slightly bigger room with no sofa and then the toilet was faulty. The entire apartment started smelling like sewage so we decided to vacate with 4 more days left on our stay. Completely unacceptable and particularly for the amount of money we spent on a 7 day stay. Would NEVER recommend staying at Allo Maisons. Customer service was terrible when we attempted to speak to them about the toilet issue and we didn't hear from them so we left. Beware anyone who books with this 'hotel'. Only plus side was the location.

Great find in a great area
Was very pleased with my apartment, may not look exactly the same as in pictures featured on here but is close enough... Everything was clean and comfortable, basic amenities, kettle, plates, towels, microwave...and TV has a great selection of digital channels which I enjoyed. Area was decent and only a 10 minute walk to Old St tube station. Lots of places to eat on Old St, very much enjoyed the 2 vegan places I found - Arancini Brothers and Redemption Bar - 42 and 320 Old St. Would be happy to stay again in future, good communication from the hosts through e-mail.

LIKELY A SCAM - I booked for two nights, knowing I would have to leave a deposit IN the premise when I would get there (as it explicitly says in their ad) and that was fine with me. But on the day that I was supposed to do check-in (actually a few hours before), they sent me an email telling me that in order for them to be able to send me the code to enter the premises, I would have to send them VIA EMAIL (NOT in the hotels.com page) in a word document ALL the financial information of my credit card. Not only does Hotels.com always warn you of NEVER doing that and sending any information of that kind, but off course that is one very easy way to clone your credit card. Since I said I would not do it they told me they could not let me in the premise. So I called hotels.com to report the situation and ask for a full refund given their shady ways, and all they could do was refund me one night (although they recognized that the process of Shoreditch Studios by Allo Maisons was completely incorrect and disloyal). The people from Shoreditch Studios by Allo Maisons send me an email apologizing and whatnot, and after many emails of me demanding a full refund because they CLEARLY LIED in their ad, they told me they would refund me for the remaining night. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. So be VERY CAREFUL with this place, I do NOT recommend it AT ALL and DO NOT send them any financial or credit card information!!!

When I arrived I knew I was given the wrong room type (downgraded). The property was good to offer a 10% discount because of in invonvience straight away. Unfortunately I'm not sure if this is enough with the condition of the apartment. Day one I realise the slats on the bed is broken (not a great night sleep) and absolutely no airflow or any form of cooling is offered so I slept on a hotbox! I woke up feeling terrible! The place was soooo dusty I had a serious allergy breakout and had to practically overdose on antihistamine to try to survive. Again the property responded quickly and brought a small fan and had maintenance fix the bed. The following day I go to make dinner, a kitchenette is great until you realise you have everything apart from cutlery, I asked for some but nothing was supplied. Again the following day the bathroom light blows, the property again responded quickly. As a whole, the apartment wasn't great, it was overheated, very dusty (and likely mouldy in pipes and so forth), small (to be expected for London) and cheap furnishings offered. They could use with an upgrade of the bed atleast and get some airflow in there. The entrance was dirty, uninviting and smelled poorly. Sadly I tried to spend as little time possible there as it was so uncomfortable. I won't be recommending this property to any one or any of my clients (I work in the industry) and won't be using their apartment facilities again.

Par où commencer, arriver a19h30 aillent pas le code de la porte j’appelle le numéro qui est affiché sur le site qui n’est pas attribué. Désespère je sonne chez un voisin qui descend et nous aide à trouver le numéro, la on me répond que j’ai n’est pas Accès à la chambre car il manque je ne sais quoi comme papier nous somme restez 1h30 devant la porte dans le froid sachant qu’on est en plein mois de décembre et qu’il ne fait pas 30 degrés. Enfin le code remis nous arrivons dans un appartement au sous sol de l’immeuble, nous rentrons dans l’appartement et la surprise le studio ne ressemble pas du tout au photos du site, pas très grave et surtout envie de prendre douche pour ce réchauffé, je rentre dans la cabine de douche et trouve de la moisissure !Fini de me doucher après avoir vu ça et bien dégoûté je range mes affaire dans le placard et ma valise sous le lit je découvre des choses sous le lit curieuse je fouille et vois du linge sales humide de au moins 3/4jous qui empestait le studio, le parquet était des morceaux de boit posé directement sur le sol on pouvais voir à travers, le ménage n’a pas été fait on pouvait voir que locataire d’avant avait manger des céréales. Fatiguée de cette journée nous Décidons de regarder la télé dans le lit, comme dans l’annonce était marquée Netflix était inclus, heureusement que j’avais un compte car le code ne fonctionnait pas et le wifi était inexistant, enfin réussi à mettre la télé nous allons dans le lit et là des miettes de dans !

No es una tortura
Deben tener claro que todo lo que leen es cierto: es un sótano, frío, ruidoso y los baños están llenos de moho y no muy limpios (eso a mi parecer es lo peor). No esperen ninguna clase de soporte u atención, tuve un problema y no era posible cerrar la puerta de mi estudio, los contacté y hasta la fecha no he tenido respuesta al respecto (tuve que dormir una noche con la puerta abierta, yo misma terminé arreglando el problema). En lo positivo, la cama es cómoda, el internet y Netflix funcionan bien. El estudio está ubicado cerca al centro y es posible encontrar muchos restaurantes, bares y tiendas a corta distancia, también hay buen acceso a transporte público; en los servicios no se menciona pero mi estudio tenía secador. Creo que no volvería a hospedarme allí, pero no fue una tortura.

Service was excellent, inexpensive stay, ok price!
Arrived late to a building that appeared as empty, no outside lighting, appartment is in basement and is quite okay for the price you pay, bed could be more comfortable, bathroom very small. Sound carries from other appartments. All in all, you get a cheap stay close to everything in Shoreditch, and service from office my Mail and phone was excellent.

Jeg synes lokalisasjon er fint,men første som skjedde var at sengen var ødelagt, så man måtte vente 2 timer på en reparatør. Så var det veldig lytt, noe som gjorde at man ble vekket av at naboen over bråket vanvittig til tider. Det var ingen ventilasjon der, som gjorde det varmt til tider. Så var det i en kjeller med en trang gang ned. Så var det 200£ i depositum, noe man skal få tilbake ila 14 dager. Synes det er sjukt bare det

The other user pointed out. In order to enter the flat, I needed give them all the financial information of my credit card on their web page (NOT in the hotels.com page). I did not feel comfortable doing it, but I did it because changing to another hotel is too costly for us. I should have checked the comment before I booked here. What's more, it takes more than 14 working days to get my deposit back (get it around 17-18 working days after sending many messages to them). It was totally unacceptable.

Das Apartment war super gemütlich und perfekt ausgestattet. Leider waren die Wände sehr dünn und es war dadurch ziemlich laut. Für ein sightseeing Urlaub in London würde ich die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Das Gebäude des Apartments war relativ schwer zu finden. Es waren insgesamt 3 Codes von Nöten, um reinzukommen-sehr umständlich. Die Wohnung war brutal hellhörig und die übrigen Mitbewohner haben bis früh morgens lautstark Party gemacht. Das Apartment war ein Kellerzimmer wo kein Fenster geöffnet werden konnte. Die Bilder in der Beschreibung sind nicht korrekt.

Dear guest, Thank you for your comments, we are sorry to hear about your experience, for it is not a normal occurrence at the property. The building is bright red and white so it is not that difficult to find and the codes are useful so you do not loose the keys, and it is safer to avoid intrussions. For the other guests we do apologize, for all of them are informed they need to respect the others as well. The pictures we advertise are from 6 different studios we do offer, so you have for sure one of them depending on the category chosen (for 2, 3 or 4 guests) We hope the rest of your stay was pleasant though. Bagno di un metro quadrato, lavandino inesistente. È un sottointerrato, la finestra si apre a malapena, c'era una caldaia accesa per tutta la struttura molto molto rumorosa, i vicini si sentivano anche quando parlavano (raramente) piano. Servizio da rivedere Per il resto, pulizia top, cucina utile e nuova.

La localizacion excelente, es una pena q no tenga luz natural y no se pueda abrir ninguna ventana. Esta muy bien para una pareja y un par de dias. Eche de menos un espejo en el baño.

L'esperienza presso lo Shoreditch Studio by Allo Maison è stata talmente positiva che sia io che Daniele non avremmo voluto andar via. Dopo solo pochi giorni ci sembrava di essere a casa nostra. La casa è graziosissima e sebbene possa sembrare piccola in realtà ha tutto quello di cui si ha bisogno per vivere comodamente dentro una casa. Esperienza da rifare. TOP

Damp and noisy - but good location
The check in was some kind of tricky because you needed to fill out forms for deposit and send pictures of your passport and a new picture showing your face - in times with lots of scam, this didn't feel to safe. At our arrival everything went smoothly when checking in, and our room was clean and tidy. The small kitchen came in handy, but it lacked some bowls to eat from. The bathroom was very small, and the toilet kept on making weird sounds (but we found out that you could switch off the power - just had to remember to switch it on again when using it). The shower was one of the big downers here. It was either scorching hot or freezing, and the water pressure was really bad. Also, the walls was paper thin and we could hear everything the neighbors said and did. We also tried to watch some news at the TV, but it couldn't connect to the cable-network or Wifi. At nighttime it was relatively quiet considered the neighborhood, but are you looking for something peaceful - look somewhere else. The room was really damp, and the possibility of ventilating was few. If this stay had been it the worst summerheat, I don't think this would be an healthy environment to live in.
