We loved all the small touches of the Grafton stay, soaps, snacks, and it was a very comfortable bed but unfortunately these touches were outweighed because it is on top of a bar and our room (room 2) was beside a kitchen and we were kept up late with all the noise of the kitchen/operating a business. If you are planning on being out and about until the bar closes, it is wonderful, but if you are hoping to get a good night's sleep (as we were bc we were jetlagged), I would not recommend!

Don't pass this up
Probably one of the best hotel stays we have had. Don't hesitate to book this one especially if you have high standards for client experience, gastronomy, and cleanliness of rooms. 10/10

Hotel room bigger then expected good bed. Pillows a little flat amazing shower room .staff very helpful nothing was to much trouble, quite a lot of stairs and we right at the top but would differently stay again and would recommend. Great location

Clean and convenient
We arrived early and our room wasn’t quite ready but they offered us some coffee while we waited a couple minutes. Super nice staff. Room was clean and spacious. It is also close to the tube and a great coffee shop.

When I’m staying in London it’s probably going to be to see a band or show so I’m not that fussed if a hotel has a pool or a gym. What I do want is a good sized bedroom with a comfortable bed and good bathroom. This is perfect, really comfortable night in a sizeable room. Quiet but perfectly placed for an easy walk to central London. Already a favourite!

Friendly and welcoming but I am upset that my bed sheets had staines and I ended up sleeping on the dressing gown provided. I contacted the property who asked for my photos. I emailed those and and never heard from them again.

This was a great place to stay in between travel days. Close to several train stations. We stayed at the very top of the pub, which does not have a lift. If your room is on the street you will likely hear some noise throughout the night but what didn’t make this stay more than 3 stars was the noise that was being made by the cleaning staff the next morning. At 9am we were awaken by how loud it was in our hall way. I would recommend this location for a quick stay but not for a multiple day trip.

It was a very small room, up 4 flights of very very steep stairs. That said the bed was comfortable once you got there, but the shower cubicle minute. Not one for the faint hearted or infirm. Location was however good

We were very pleasantly surprised by the design, interior decorating, almost new condition and size of our suite. We are big walkers and the location was excellent for parks, theatres, restaurant and shopping. Bravo, you have a winner!

Great staff who really made staying there very easy, especially taking up our luggage all those stairs! The room was lovely and had complimentary snacks and coffee/tea. I really recommend this Pub and rooms, and be sure to use the local Transport as it's close to 3 different tube stations that can take you anywhere also if you don't mind a great walk, walk into Picadilly and it's only a 30 or 40 min walk.

This is the second time I've stayed at the Grafton and I will be back. Lovely room, lovely service. Perfect location close to three different tube stations in a great neighbourhood. Comfy bed. Everything was clean and wonderful. All the stars! The only things to be aware of are the stairs up to the rooms and the pub noise until 11pm. Neither one of those things was an issue for me, but if you have limited mobility or noise sensitivity it may affect you.

Super cute comfy spot, kinda thin walls
Pros: super comfy bed, good amenities, awesome bathroom with a tub, and really spacious room. Cons: walls are super thin so you can hear conversations of your drunken neighboring rooms. If you’re not sensitive to noise or can get over it this is a great place!

I loved the decor in our room! Good location. Only negatives were the long walk up the narrow stairway to our room and the so-called 'king bed'. I didn't realize a UK king would be smaller than a US queen. I switched my booking from a much cheaper hotel for what i thought would be a bigger bed for our last night in Europe. The bed was very comfortable though. Good air-conditioning too.

Comfortable room & lots of stairs.
A nice location, friendly staff, and very comfortable room(s). Two concerns: 1) most rooms are on upper floors and there is no lift (elevator). 2) There is no one to let you in on a Sunday check in. You have to call a number and someone meets you after 25 minutes - could be be a challenge for some travelers. Otherwise, the GAP&R offers a great value and comfortable stay in an interesting area.

Check in quick. Don't forget ID even if you live in the UK! We did, thinking we wouldn't need it. The chap on the desk showed us to our room. There is no lift which we were aware of and unfortunately for us we were on the top floor! So many stairs! Lovely room, looks like it hasn't long been decorated/refurbished. Tastefully decorated. Shame the bed wasn't bigger, think it was a double. (We're used to a super king at home, so felt like we were sleeping on top of each other). It was fairly comfortable. Didn't rate the pillows, one of mine was really lumpy and the other was too soft. Tea/coffee provided with a kettle/Nespresso type machine. Complimentary biscuits and bag of crisps, water in the fridge with a bar of chocolate. Good sized bathroom, nice towels. Room has air conditioning which we were grateful for as we visited at the end of a heatwave. Surprising how quiet the street was considering it's the middle of London just off Tottenham Court Road. Can't comment on the pub downstairs as we didn't have time to visit. Would definitely use again as central and close to underground.

Central location between popular destinations like Soho, Covent Garden, Kings Cross and Camden. Easy access to Warren Street tube station had us on the go all the time! Rooms were nice, bigger than expected. Pub was the perfect spot to have a last drink before heading upstairs for the night.

WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY
The staff & accommodations were above & beyond. They were very friendly & helpful. Any question or need we had the staff addressed immediately. The hospitality was so warm & attentive that it felt like we were visiting friends. Grafton Arms is very convenient to the Underground Circle Line that can get you anywhere we need to go. ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE.
