Battersea is one of London’s friendliest and most up-and-coming areas. The area’s popular with young professionals because of its closeness to central London, its green spaces and outstanding transport links. There are plenty of bars, pubs and shops nearby to keep you refreshed and entertained, especially in Battersea Square. And the house is very close to the River Thames and a short walk away from the delightful Battersea Park.
Head south and you’ll find Northcote Road, a popular destination for nights out with plenty of cool places to eat, drink and maybe get a little merry. The Clapham Grand is close by too, a famous music venue that attracts decent bands and plays host to a selection of comedy and club nights.
You’re well placed for shopping too, with Northcote Road market full of stalls that’ll let you stock up the apartment’s fridge and kitchen cupboards with deliciously fresh fruit, veg, meat and cheese. There are department stores and supermarkets aplenty near Clapham Junction too, and Oxford Street is only 20 minutes away by public transport.

Battersea Power Station
A trip to Battersea Power Station is one not to be missed, the best local place to eat, drink, shop and play.
At its peak, Battersea Power Station was supplying a fifth of London`s electricity. After decades of sitting derelict, it is now open to the public as one of London`s most exciting and innovative new destinations. The very building which once produced the energy that enabled people to eat, drink, shop and play in the City, now provides the venue for a new generation to do the same.
If you’re looking for open, green spaces, well, you’re spoilt for choice too, with Battersea Park, Clapham Common and Wandsworth Common all close by.
You’re only half a mile away from one of London`s busiest railway station - Clapham Junction. Which means most of London - and the south of England for that matter - is within easy reach. Both London Waterloo and London Victoria stations are less than a 10 minute train ride away, while new London Overground routes mean you’re connected with places like the Olympic Park in Stratford as well as Docklands, East London and Highbury and Islington.
If you’re thinking of heading south, trains will connect you to pretty much all the south coast of England’s major seaside resorts, including Brighton, Bournemouth, Eastbourne and Hastings. And Gatwick Airport is less than an hour away.
Plenty of London buses serve the area, taking you west to Putney and Richmond, and north to London’s Theatreland, the Kings Road and Oxford Circus.
This property is over 3 floors with stairs only & no lift however the ground floor does have a bathroom and bedroom. The air conditioning is in the top bedroom.
