"This hotel was perfect for first time vacationers to New York. The room was spacious and clean. We had a walk in closet. The bathroom was great. Nice view of 6th street. The hotel is decorated in classic 1920s style, which we loved. The front desk and concierge, door man and other staff were very helpful and nice. This hotel is located with in walking distance of several major attractions and restaurants. A subway access point is a block a way. A couple of convenience stores and coffee shops are also extremely close. 40min taxi ride feom JFK. When we come back NY in the future we will definitely stay there again!"

"The pool is really nice, but it's only available for guests without a pool reservation for 3 hours in the morning. "

"From check-in to check-out, everything was wonderful. Staff was great, room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Subway station is located at the end of the block (so convenient), restaurant on-site and room service available. The only downside is the parking situation - we tried the parking garage the hotel staff member suggested and it was full - proceeded to another garage in the vicinity....it was full. Those were both a few blocks away - be prepared to search for parking upon arrival and possibly walking a long distance with your luggage. Just a tip, if you are coming with vehicle. Everything was great - just the parking isn't easy."
