"The cabin has a great screened in porch in front and a patio out back. It is a great place to relax after a long day at Acadia! It is very peaceful in the evenings. We loved our stay here!"
"My week at Acadia National Park was amazing and this quaint cabin, which is steps from the park itself and trails, was everything as listed. It was clean, newer and quiet. I was on a solo trip, but it could easily sleep 4 or 6 people with the loft. The inside is roomy with a single bathroom with shower and a full kitchen, and the outside offered a grill and fire pit (stocked plentifully with wood to burn). It's about a 10 minute drive to the nearest town and is on the quieter side of the island, Bar Harbor is about a 30-minute easy drive. There are 2 other cabins on the property along with the owner's home, but they are well spaced apart that they feel well separated; Cabin 2 is the most secluded from the others. If I ever get back to Maine I will be booking again. Thanks to Tom for his hospitality."
"We (8 adults, 2 kids) had a great stay at this property on Mount Desert island. Very clear check in instructions and easy to get into the property. The house is huge - very spacious with plenty of communal areas, bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us. The kitchen was well equipped and had all that you would need.. fridges were a bit old but still worked fine. It also has a lovely outdoor space with a sofa, plenty of chairs and a fire pit, that backs into woods. Very private and felt secluded. Also great for stargazing at night as it's outside the urban areas. Access to Acadia was easy - the house is right next to some areas of the park and it's easy to get to the loop road and main attractions. There is a well equipped grocery a few miles away and Southwest Harbor is not too far (10 min drive) for restaurants and shops. All in all, the house was perfect for our large group and we had a fantastic time - thank you!"

"Bill and his wife were very down to earth, awesome people! My kids loved playing with their dog Murray! Bar Harbor was about 15 minutes away from the home, and everything else was very close to the house as well! Overall great location and stay!! "
