"It is an old fashioned, an "retro" hotel. The staff, however, made up for the outdated decor. They were excellent. The food was also quite good. All in all, good value for money.
The big negative is a really slow, almost unusable WIFI. So, if you go there and want to use WIFI for business, do not stay at this hotel. While there is free public parking nearby, the hotel does not offer parking and you may find yourselves fighting for parking space, as we did."
"The hotel and scenario are breathtaking. The staff (from front desk staff to servers, cooks, bartenders, etc.) were amazing with their customer service, congeniality, and attentiveness. I was here for a family event and was able to fully enjoy myself. My massage experience was great as well. The food was well prepared with tasty options."
"Enjoyed my stay, great location. Around a 15 minute walk from downtown Agordo and the bus autostation bus depot. Views even better than expected, would stay here again-Thanks"
"Stay in the hotel was nice, we stayed two nights.
Overall the service was great and staff was helpful. However the staff has very limited English skills, so the communication was fairly limited.
The breakfast was a bit disappointing as the savory choices available were very limited, and just mainly sweet things were there. Also, when they ran out no-one brought more of them. So just a note, don’t go for late breakfast or might be that all has ran out. 😔"
"Personale gentile, struttura molto carina, aria relax piacevolissima e colazione abbondante, varia e gustosissima. Il paese intorno è molto grazioso e comodo per fare un sacco di gite e trekking."

Al Sasso di Stria
10/10 Excellent
"My stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The breakfast was delicious. The staff at the front desk were kind and helpful, providing me with great recommendations for hiking. The hotel is located in a great, quiet area, not too far from the maintown, making it easy to get around while still having a peaceful place to return to. I would highly recommend this hotel"
"Fantastic location for hiking to Lago di Sorapis, could leave vehicle in the car park of the hotel. Great breakfast and well worth adding the half board option for dinner - delicious 3 course meal with water and a glass of wine included. Modern facilities. "
"Excellent service and great staff. Highly recommend. Great location 5 minute from the action. No air conditioning for those that fear the heat. Nights and evenings more than comfortable "
"Das Nachtessen war excellent. Das Frühstückbuffet hingegen ist etwas abgefallen ,auch war das Personal nicht gleich proaktiv wie am Abend.
Das Zimmer war sauber, das Bett bzw. die Matratzen eher weich, aber ich habe bestens geschlafen."
"well located in downtown close to bus stop, many dining establishments, pharmacy and grocery store. comfy beds and good linens. parking not adjacent only detriment. Breakfast offered excellent pastries and we'll done bacon accompanying real eggs, not reconstituted dry powder. Management was pleasant and attentive to our needs. Higky recommend. Priced lower than nearby Cortina, although construction creates traffic delays in that direction. so allow extra time."
