Inside, Myrtle Cottage is brimming to its beams with warmth and character. The sitting room, with its panelled walls, inviting velvet sofas, and a crackling wood-burning stove, is a cosy retreat for any season. The kitchen-diner, full of rustic charm, sits at the heart of the home and is the perfect place for lingering over hearty suppers after days exploring the forest. A fantastic stay!

Claire & John made our cottage stay so wonderful - a really idyllic cottage with a great big kitchen and 2 beautifully comfy king size beds. The location was perfect - lots to do and a perfect cottage stay - we would definitely come back!

A great stay in a lovely cottage.

We had a long weekend in this cottage and really enjoyed it. Communication with owner the John was excellent throughout and the property is very comfortable and nicely furnished. Good walks directly from the cottage and it is in an exceptionally quiet position. Everything you could possibly need is provided and it's all very clean. Two woodburners as well as radiators keep the cottage nice and warm and the beds and furniture are all very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this cottage.
