"The hotel is in an excellent position for everything. The harbour, plenty of shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants, lovely walks are all there. There is a ‘tuk tuk’ that takes you back and forth through the village for those with limited walking and a bus runs at the top of the village to Looe and various other places. You can also get boat trips to Looe and Fowey or half an hour trips around the area. It’s perfect for a weeks stay and is a working fisherman’s harbour with an interesting museum about smuggling and bygone times. We loved Polperro "

"Stunning room with a stunning view. We stayed two nights in the upper deck and it was just fab. No restaurant as such so you’ll have to travel but we found a couple of fantastic places. If you don’t mind going out for dinner, this could be the perfect place"

"Large,comfortable, well equipped cottage with beautiful views. Approximately 1 mile walk from the south west coast path and Lansallos beach which is a pretty and quiet little cove. The walks can be very strenuous if you're not used to the hills.Close to many attractions such as the eden project e also found some smaller places to visit such as Porfell rescue centre, Caŕnglaze caverns and Golitha falls. The cottage is also close to a "dark sky" area on Bodmin moor and if you're able to stay up late and have a clear night, the stars are absolutely amazing. Matthew and family incuding the dogs are very friendly and helpful .A lovely holiday."
