"We thoroughly enjoyed out two night stay at Barrow Lodge from the minute we arrived to when we left. Clodagh is an exceptional hostess, giving us the warmest welcome, and really useful advice on where to go for food and what to see. The room was big, clean with a lovely view of the estuary. Breakfast was fabulous. We've been recommending it to everyone since we left as it's a little gem and we'd definitely go back. If you're in the area, stay here!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The host were exceptionally gracious, welcoming, and attentive, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere throughout our visit. The breakfast was truly outstanding—easily one of the most memorable meals we have had while traveling. Every aspect of our experience exceeded expectations, from the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodations to the genuine hospitality shown by the host. We honestly cannot identify a single area for improvement. This was an exceptional stay in every regard, and we would enthusiastically recommend it to others. ❤️"

"This reservation was a saving grace after a VRBO reservation was ignored by the owner in Dingle. This is a wonderful property and the manager is a gentleman without equal. He was upset at the cost we had been charged and adjusted it to my advantage as it should have been. The room was great and the breakfast was superb. I could not recommend a place more if folks are heading to Tralee."

"My husband and I did a 10 day trip across the entire island of Ireland, and our stop at Barrow Lodge was a major highlight! The location was serene, the view was incredible, it was the most comfortable bed and best shower of any of the other hotels, and the breakfast was beyond words! Claudia was a phenomenal host, we felt so welcome and wish we could have stayed longer! I am hoping we can return again soon."

Charming Rural Irish Cottage near golf, beaches, castles and villages

"My husband and I stayed here the last three days of our honeymoon and wow this was such a perfect place for us. The area is so quiet and serene and the cottage is just as cozy and charming as the pictures. We ended up sleeping in the yellow room with the two beds because that bed was extra comfortable. A tiny note about laundry. Because Ireland is very environmentally conscious, water conservation is a priority so the laundry machine was small. Just do small loads at a time and you should be fine! They even already had detergent and everything, so we didn't have to buy anything except food for our stay. Our favorite part about the place however was the kitchen! What a beautiful kitchen! The view out of the window was so calming. The drawers and cabinets are exactly what we would want for our dream home. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back one day!"
