We had a wonderful stay here, we especially loved the location and that there was 24/7 security, and a rooftop to enjoy. It is important to note that there are no elevators and no A/C at this hotel. The rooftop for breakfast is on the 5th floor, with steep and winding stairs, so beware of this. A fan was provided in the room, which was perfect in September but I can imagine it difficult to stay here in the summer heat.
Overall enjoyed the stay and the workers! Just don’t recommend for physically disabled or elderly.

I love Mexico City but never had an experience like staying at the Gran Hotel, staff is very friendly and helpful, view to the Zocalo is beyond beautiful, the whole experience transport you to colonial Mexico. Location is great close to museums and other attractions, restaurant Terraza has great food options.
