The pools were great and excellent for enjoying with family and young children. Overall the hotel amenities were very good, the staff was excellent and always looking to help and provide a very enjoyable experience. The main buffet restaurant always had great quality varied food options. We also tried 2 of the dinner restaurants and the food was good but the service was less efficient and poorer than in the main buffet restaurant since they had less servers staffing those restaurants. Our main issue was our room, a Junior Suite Ocean View Double. The door to the room was on the backside of the hotel facing the busy highway and the services side of the hotel in tower 4 so it was very noisy for the road and garbage trucks/services/main AC room for the hotel. The room’s furniture was also dated and not in the best condition or cleanliness. Both beds were unstable and we had several other issues with the room that we reported that the staff helped resolve. We would certainly stay in the hotel again and would recommend it, but would look to stay in a different part of the hotel that also offers a room in better condition.

The villa and property grounds were beautiful, the food was not good and at and the service wasn’t must better... slow service and even slower butler, which we paid for.. we saw him one time

Fantastic service in the altitude section. I had breakfast lunch and supper at the grill and all of the servers were amazing. The best part of the trip was the concierge service. I had mistakenly left a big pile of clothes in one of the drawers in my room and between them and a shuttle service I was able to get all of my items at my next stop. The room was amazing. 3 bedroom villa, family of 5. Food was 8/10…we did all inclusive, if the prices we saw were accurate it would be almost prohibitive not to. Breakfast the best. Pools 9.5/10. Really nice. Gym was 9/10. Staff 10/10. Nespresso coffee and pods in room. Currently construction on the ocean side of vista encantada, but wasn’t very impactful. Only real complaint was the pillows…small and flat. It was better than we expected from the Expedia descriptions. Scheduled van to/from airport was ~ $250 round trip for 5.

Older property. Nice location. Not all rooms have ocean view.
