The place was clean and exactly as shown on the pictures. Robert personally came by to greet us and all communicaton was easy and fast. Nice touch to have all the necessitites for home cooking and a fresh coffee and tea in the morning provided. Wouldn't hesitate to come back. Bus stop basically in front of the door which gets you quickly into the lovely old town of Lübeck

No internet, no microwave, no smart TVs, dryer is coin op

We stayed at this vacation rental while on vacation. I work remotely in the evenings. I tried to get on the internet but couldn't find any Wi-Fi passwords. I messaged the host, and he informed me that he hadn't signed up for internet yet. Then, instead of offering help or suggestions, he immediately contacted VRBO to file a complaint against me and to inform me that internet was "clearly listed" as not being available. I went back and reread the property description, and they claimed to have smart TVs but didn't say anything about there being no internet. I ended up hotspotting to my wife's international cell phone data for 16 hours, racking up a large phone bill and leaving her with no cell phone during the duration of our stay. Huge pain.But the inconveniences didn't stop there. The home was not properly cleaned. There was a pile of recycling on the floor that hadn't been taken out. The description said that a microwave oven was provided, but there was no microwave. The description said that there were smart TVs, but there was just a TV with no internet.The discription said that there was a DVD player, but there were no cables to connect the DVD player to the TV. There were no instructions on how to access laundry facilities. We had to ask neighbors. The dryer was not free.It took more than 24 hours for the host to provide instructions on how to use the washer and dryer. It took hours for the host to respond to each inquiry. Nice house. Bad experience.

El alojamiento es tal cual se puede ver en las fotos, situado a unos 30 minutos andando del centro. Ten en cuenta que no dispone de lavadora/secadora. La rapidez y fluidez de respuesta en la comunicación con el anfitrión fue excelente, si bien tuve que usar el traductor de Google alemán/español pues, aunque le escribía en inglés, contestaba en alemán. Nos resultó desagradable que, cuando abrimos el cubo de basura, salieron muchas mosquitillas, por lo demás correcto y Robert agradable en sus respuestas. No tenía plaza de parking disponible el día de mi llegada, pero se podía aparcar en la calle sin problema. Lübeck se puede ver en un día completo, no te vayas sin tomar alguna de las exquisitas tartas en el Café Niederegger y también recomendaría el Schiffergesellschaft (si no vas a comer aquí, al menos asómate a su interior).
