This hotel is very close and walkable to the train station yet walkable to our walking tour. We had a room for three which was very spacious. The breakfast looked delicious, but our train was early so we only grabbed a few items. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had an excellent stay at the City Hotel. We chose it because it is so close to the train station - about a 10 minute walk from the main city centre. But the room and staff exceeded our expectations. The breakfast as particularly wonderful - catering to all tastes and diets. It was every thing and more than we could have hoped for.

This is a great little hotel just across the road from the station. It is a very good 3 star but I wouldn’t pay €20 for breakfast! There are lots of lovely cafes in the area instead. We had a lovely evening meal at the restaurant at the station Le Quai Steffen. The American cemetery is worth a visit.

We enjoyed our one night stay in the City Hotel in a comfort triple room that actually had two separate bedrooms. Both rooms very spacious with comfortable beds and a fridge with free bottled water. The location is incredibly convenient for the train and a 15 minute walk to the old town. The public transport is free so it is easy to hop on a tram. A highlight of the stay was the wonderful breakfast with a range of fresh fruit and a freshly-squeezed orange juice machine.

I highly recommend this hotel. It is conveniently located near the train station and close to the bus and tram stops, which are free to use in this beautiful city, making it very easy to get around. The room was spacious, the amenities were excellent, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and willing to assist with anything we needed. Our train departed in the evening, and they kindly allowed us to store our luggage after check-out, which was extremely helpful. Right next to the train station, there is a supermarket called Proxy, where you can find excellent food options at very reasonable prices. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. It is very clean, perfectly located, and the staff is exceptionally welcoming and attentive.
