The entrance way still has the original stone work, which gives the property character. On the ground floor you have three double bedrooms which are all very light and airy. The living/dining room and modern kitchen are situated on the first floor, and on the second floor there is a great space that has been designed perfectly for a children’s play area, with games, bean bags, a TV and Playstation 2.
The Old Laundry (ref UK12136) consists of a spacious open plan living space with a wood burner, which keeps the space cosy and welcoming in the winter. Patio doors lead off the living area to a patio and private garden space, which is ideal for spending time outside in the summer months. Upstairs you have two, well-proportioned and well-equipped double bedrooms, one with the ability to be set up as a twin room.
The Chicken Coop (UK12137) is all on one level and has been finished to a high standard, and is the perfect getaway to kick back and relax in. You enter the property through a small porch and are instantly met by a large spacious kitchen area which is modern and fully equipped. The living area has a lovely wood burner which gives a glowing warmth to the property in the winter months. Both bedrooms are fitted with TV’s and offer a high level of comfort, and there is also a wet room giving easier access to facilities. Outside, there is a very large garden that is shared with one other property, but there is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. There is also an interconnecting door that connects to The Old Granary, perfect for large groups.

The area is wonderful for sightseeing and touring, and easily reached year round. Chepstow’s racecourse and excellent golf courses are also nearby. Shop 1½ miles, pub 2 miles and restaurant 2¾ miles.

We had a lovely fortnight over Christmas and the New Year at The Old Granary.
We had a lovely fortnight over Christmas and the New Year at The Old Granary. The owners were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The house is extremely well provisioned - better than any we have stayed at. It is clean and warm and nicely decorated for Christmas. There are a number of good pubs locally which offered extremely good food and took dogs. Overall a lovely experience.

We loved The Granary, it was absolutely perfect for us, quiet location, fabulous setting, very well
We loved The Granary, it was absolutely perfect for us, quiet location, fabulous setting, very well equipped and spotlessly clean throughout. The walled paddock was loved by our dog, but some people might prefer to have an adjoining garden. The large utility was wonderful after muddy walks.Very little phone signal but WiFi was ok if not excellent. A perfect get away and a welcome change of pace. Some amazing castles and places to visit nearby. Very welcoming hosts, highly recommended.
