Great place to stay, lovely enclosed garden very safe for our small dog.All the facilities you would want, such as Sky TV, Broadband, well equipped Kitchen.Very Clean and Pet friendly.I will be booking again next year.
Cute little cottage that is situated well for visiting the New Forest, kitchen is well equipped, bed very comfortable, the stairsxas described in description are steep, if we were visiting again would not hesitate to stay here
Lovely cottage with a beautiful garden. As mentioned the stairs are steep but we managed with no problem (we are in our late 60's and early 70's)Opposite the common so good for a walk and easy access to Lymington. Excellent communication from the owner.Would definitely recommend On street parking with plenty of spaces.
We very much enjoyed our 3-night stay at the cottage. It was spotlessly clean inside with a well-equipped kitchen - handy as we like to cook in the evenings. Lovely garden too. Good location for visiting rivers, coast and New Forest.
The cottage was in a great location easy to walk into Lymington, great base for coastal days out and trips into the new forest. Beautiful cottage garden, house immaculate with good facilities.
Were looking for a quiet weekend with walks and within reach of a swimming beach. Cottage was well equipped and cosy, - we even spent a happy, rainy day reading. Booking was easy too.
The accommodation was A* and the best we have experienced. The location was ideal and our communication with the property owner was first class. We would recommend the cottage and hope to return one day.
lovely garden and pretty cottage, comfortable for the two of us and ideal location for our adventures. Enjoyed the common opposite where we walked each day.
The cottage was absolutely amazing and was situated in a fantastic place, When we arrived we Had a lovely bottle of wine, waiting for us and a congratulations card on your wedding ...card.Which was really nic
Very comfortable little cottage, conveniently located, in a quite residential area, across from common land. Walking distance to Lymington, which is a charming town, which boasts a smallish but varied market on a Saturday. 20min drive to coastal walks, and forest walks. Cottage was very clean and charmingly decorated. Beds were comfy Garden also nice, but didn’t get time to sit out as we were so busy! We had 5 days there. Perfect to see and do everything in the area. Host was very friendly. Delicious lemon cake was waiting for us when we arrived
Wonderful little cottage, very clean and comfortable. It has everything you would need for a break away. Superb to have a huge park opposite in which to walk the dogs. Mick the property manager even left us a cake for our arrival which was very much appreciated. Would recommend
Short break away for the family, while I was on a course
Such a cosy little cottage, had everything we need and was a perfect location for the conference I was attending. The area is stunning with lots of local dog walks as we took our Cockapoo with us.
The beds were super comfy with beautiful, fresh smelling linen, as listed the stairs, are a little steep, but it adds to the quirkyNess To an old building. We would definitely book a short stay again. The host was very welcoming and had excellent communication.
This is a beautiful & homely Victorian cottage. It's very comfortable and has a superb garden. We were suprised to find milk, juice & 6 cupcakes on arrival 😋. This was very welcome. Pennington is well placed near to Lymington but it takes 25 to 30mins walkto reach the quay
James and I spent a wonderful Christmas time at the Sun Cottage. It has everything you can dream of: warm and elegant environment, nice garden, and quiet neighborhood. It is finely refurbished and equipped with the best appliances. The Cottage is in a fantastic location, by the New Forest and only a short stroll from the centre of the lovely Lymington.
I highly recommend this accommodation.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage and plan to revisit next year! Communication with the owner was really helpful. All instructions very clear, found the cottage very easily. Upon enetering we were more than happy, the photos don't do it justice at all. Very clean and comfortable, the beds and pillows were extremly comfortable!! All in all we loved it and will definitely recommend the cottage to others, and will be returning!
We were very lucky with the weather which helps but we love the area as there is always something to do.
The cottage was spotless and has all amenities (apart from washing machine no space ) and there was a very nice cake awaiting us as well as tea ,coffee and milk .
Parking was fine on quiet street and the garden is a delight.
The owner kindly reminded us about the steep stairs but we managed as we did with downstairs bathroom.
Overall highly recommended for a relaxing stay in New Forest.
I stayed here with my son over Easter & we loved our mini holiday in the quaint little cottage. Its beautifully presented, is well equiped & had everything we needed. A real home from home.We really appreciated the milk & lovely bscuits, what a treat! The garden is a real bonus, has some lovely seatng areas & is so pretty & very peaceful.Yes the stairs are steep but they've in character with the cottage & we were warned beforehand. If you need the second bedroom please let the owners know before hand, otherwise only the double bed is made up, unfortunate that I didnt!I look forward to another stay.
Just back from a lovely 3 night break with my husband and my dog. Property was lovely and clean, neat, tidy and had everything that we needed. Mick was great, as I only made the booking the day before, he was really helpful. The location was great for both the Forest and coast line. Would definitely go back. The only slight issue we had, was finding the property when we got there, as the adjoining property’s house number is visible, although the house name is on gate, it’s not very clear and could probably do with being replaced. Slightly disappointed on arrival, but more than happy once inside :-)
