Entire place
You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.
A comfortable, spacious home with a large garden in a lovely location.
Woodfearn is a comfortable, spacious home in a lovely location. It is situated in the charming village of Sway, opposite paddocks, with two village pubs, a convenience store and other amenities just a short walk away.
Sway is surrounded by open forest and heath, with miles of walking and cycling tracks and new forest ponies on the doorstep. It's a short drive to New Forest villages - Brockenhurst, Burley, Lyndhurst - and pretty coastal town of Lymington. There are several lovely beaches nearby. The local train station connects to Brockenhurst with fast trains to London, Bournemouth and Southampton.
The house has a spacious living room with lots of comfortable seating, a sunny conservatory and a study area with desk. The country pine kitchen/diner is fully equipped with modern appliances and has a separate utility area.
On the ground floor there is a double bedroom and separate bathroom with shower. On the first floor is a twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, plus two single bedrooms and an additional WC. Two pull out guest beds are available on request.
Outside is a large patio with table, chairs and parasol for outdoor dining. Steps lead down to a fully enclosed garden with lawn and shrubs. The drive has parking for up to three cars and there is secure storage in the garage for bikes etc.
We are a dog friendly house with no extra charges for your pets. If you would like your furry friends to cuddle up on the sofa with you, we simply ask that you bring a throw for them. The back garden is great for dogs – large, fully fenced, lots of bushes to sniff around in. Most beaches in Hampshire are dog friendly, while Dorset beaches allow dogs in designated areas. The following items are provided for your convenience: bed linen, towels, tea towels, dish cloths, sponge, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, liquid soap and toilet rolls. Travel cot and high chair are available on request.

The house was lovely and clean with plenty of space for us all.
The large garden was perfect for our 2 dogs and very secure.
Beautiful area with lovely walks just outside the village.
Would recommend, as a lovely peaceful stay.
Many Thanks Helen
Lovely comfortable property with plenty of space for young children, parents and Granny. Kitchen diner/ utility formed the heart of the home with good cooking facilities. Good bathrooms and bedrooms.
We spent 3 nights here over easter weekend
Plenty of room for 4 adults (one in a wheel chair ) and 2 small dogs
The property is right in the heart of the new forest
And close to beautiful beach of Milford on sea lovely walks, Plus local shops just up the road
Extremely comfortable every thing you will need in the house And bonus of a beautiful garden
We were very lucky with the weather
Highly recommended place to stay
Lovely, spacious property. Nice outdoor area in back garden with conservatory. Good facilities such as a dishwasher, washing machine and drier. Very well-equipped with both utensils to cleaning products to games and TV/video.Great umbrella shower and crisp, clean bed linen. Situated well as easy to get to Lymington to the ferry for the Isle of Wight, Highcliffe beach and there is a train-line to Bournemouth and Southampton. The only thing which needs improving is the garden chairs as they were a bit dodgy and need checking. We didn't actually have to have any communication with the owner but all access/ TV/WiFi and washing machine info was all easily accessible which was brilliant. Would definitely rent this property again. Highly recommended.
My husband's first comment when we opened the front door was 'This place is like a tardis!' Woodfearn is large, lovely and extremely comfortable. Well-equipped and very versatile, easily accommodating five adults, two dogs and a family get-together of another fifteen people. The garden and patio area are ideal for outdoor eating , and the lack of light pollution in Sway means that you can enjoy some stargazing too. As well as highly recommending the house and grounds, we found that Sway is a lovely little village too. Sway butchers and the Sway Deli and Cafe have a wide range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian products. The Plough Inn, and Hare and Hounds are local and have great menus. Further afield is the Needles Eye Cafe in Milford, the Gun at Keyhaven and The Larder in Lymington. Highlights of the holiday; paddleboarding in Keyhaven and a day's sailing from Lymington with Escape Yachting. It was a wrench to pack up and leave yesterday. Thank you.
Large, comfortable, well equipped house with a very helpful owner in a great location for seeing the New Forest and coast. We stayed a couple of years ago and couldn’t find anything better when we wanted to come to The New Forest again this year with our baby and 2 year old so we had a second enjoyable stay here.
Nice location, beds very comfy. Found quite a lot of the double glazing hard to open and shut. Two of the bedroom doors would not close and kept banging open and shut whenever we had a window open which was very annoying. A full size ironing board and some more pegs would have been useful as well as there was only a small table top ironing board. Great place to stay to explore the new forest.
Spacious comfortable house with lovely garden within walking distance of village which has all amenities you need. Easy to get to coast and New Forest. We’ll worth a visit.
Lovely spacious property in a quiet neighbourhood but in the heart of the forest and about 20 minutes to the sea. Good local pub within walking distance. This house needs a little maintenance and has a nostalgic 80’s feel to it, though the appliances are very up-to-date. It is very comfortable and has a lovely outdoor dining area and beautifully planted rear garden full of unusual bushes, shrubs and flowers. We ranged in age from 9 months to 90 years and all of us loved it here. Thank you Helen for a perfect family break.
The house is spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. It is in a quiet location but within easy reach of the village centre and well placed for exploring the New forest.
