Friendly staff, amazing spa, room was clean and cosy. Minus for the lack of towel holder next to the sink. Chairs in the room were uncomfortable. Restaurant on site was delicious. Breakfast buffet had a large selection of cheese and pastries, bread, cereals etc.

There was no restaurant or bar open on Sunday despite many people being there for the rugby match on Sunday night.

In average the place was decent but the shower wasn’t very clean and found a lot of black hairs stuff between the bottom sheet and the mattress… staff was ok

Stayed 1 night after an incoming overnight flight. This clean hotel made us feel like a home away from home. We had a great breakfast and everyone at the hotel front desk and restaurant was helpful and responsive.

Hotel in the middle of nowhere so there's nothing to do, not even a sports screen in the so called lounge area.
Bar is never open, dining here is hard work. I see now why so many customers were using just eat deliveries. Nice hotel but nothing special

A really good hotel for our long drive from Italy to France. Excellent, friendly service, a very good restaurant, parking, and good-sized comfortable rooms with good air conditioning. The carpets could be renewed, but otherwise an excellent place. Also great for our dog.

Arrived at the hotel and was not recognisable as a best western from the outside, on arrival the front desk was helpful and friendly, whilst checking in they asked for a credit card to be swiped and took €100 from it, on checking out they said it would be put back on my card, but a week later I am still waiting for that to happen and is a payment pending on my card. When having a look around the hotel we looked in the bistro to see what was on offer that evening, but no menu or anyone around to ask. Whilst checking in the reception said the bar would open at 5.30pm so you could have a drink before dining but this was not the case as it didn’t open. There wasn’t much around the hotel to go and eat or drink out.Maybe we caught them on a bad night.

We are very sorry and want to apologize for the inconvenient that occurs. The pre-authorization stay holded for about 1 week, depending on the bank. Your stay was from the 10 to the 11th of July, normally everything is good now.
With the sunny weather our barman stays on our terrace, but you could have ask to have a drink inside, do not hesitate for a futur stay.
For the restaurant menu, you could have found it on the TV in your room, or at the reception directly with us.
We are trully sorry for these inconveniences and hope to see you another time in our Best Western Plus Hôtel & Spa de Chassieu.

It was a great location for going to the Lyon Stadium. We were there for the Fifa Women’s World Cup and it was a great choice. The staff was very accommodating and spoke English. Breakfast was just ok but the restaurant at dinner was good.
(This would not be the place to stay if you are going into Lyon city center everyday - it’s takes about 30 minutes.)

Stayed here for the World Cup. 2.5 miles from the stadium making it super easy to get to and from. Room was clean and quiet, decent breakfast in the morning, no real complaints, a decent value hotel to lay your head. However, if you want to use the pool you have to wear speedos.

Our hotel is located a few minutes drive from Groupama Stadium, which is very easy to access.
For hygienic reasons, we ask the wearing of speedos for all the gentlemen wanting to use our Spa. This is for your comfort and guarantee you an optimal water quality.
The stay we had was very good. I would definitely stay here again. Staff were friendly.
The only annoying part was that in the swimming pool and spa you have to wear speedo. But the gym was nice too.

I decided to go with this hotel brecause the pool and spa amenities.( under different situation I would have chosen the nearby Mercure. It takes approx 25 minutes to get there from the airport terminal.( better have 30 -35 euros on hand for the taxi ) The front desk staff , the SPA personnel and the waiting people are friendly and eager to help .I opted for a late check out which set me back 50 euros )The bathroom had obvious mold staining at the ceiling corners ( I am very sensitive to it ) but at least I was able to open the window and freshen up the room air periodically .The whirlpool in the SPA area does not have a hand rail to help getting in / out of the tub ... major fall risk on a slippery floor . The massage service is in high demand and probably one should book the slot at the same time with the room reservation .Uber , on the way back to the airport is 20-25 euros ....and you can user plastic !!!! yeeeee.....

OK as a last resort, but other hotels are better
I had a suite which was of an acceptable standard. Unlike Novitel & Pullman, minibar soft drinks chargable even in top room - not good. Poor toiletries supplied. Hotel has poor sound-proofing. Kitchen and dining room noise travels even after 11pm. Not many rooms, but large car park is usually very full. To the staff, the restaurant seems mire important than the hotel. Would not recommend when so many other 4* available that are MUCH better.

It is the 2nd time I stayed in this hotel.
Is quiet, beautiful spa, good employees, nice rooms.
Close to the airport, not so close to downtown Lyon but still a good choice.
Stayed here twice in a week while flying through Lyon. Everything about this hotel is excellent, the staff genuinely friendly and helpful. They even arranged a package mailing for me so I would not have to go to the post office. The restaurant was very good. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
I arrived late evening for a flight the next morning. Plenty of parking for my rental car, and prompt and efficient check-in (under 1 minute total time). The room was immaculate and up-scale in decor and furnishing -- as you would expect from a newly renovated, business/airport hotel. The hotel bar was open past midnight (on a weeknight), and they had plenty on offer. Very quiet for sleeping (zero noise from the neighborhood). Check out was similarly efficient (although I wish you could just walk out and have your credit card charged as in the US and not have to stop and re-present your credit card for extra charges on checkout - a Europe thing). The only small downside is a France-wide aversion to providing more than 3 towels (one to shower, one for the floor, and the other for miscellaneous); I would prefer an American-style offering of towels (sizes and quantity) at 4 star hotels...but you get used to these small things. I normally stay in Lyon-center for my travel in and out of Lyon, but this hotel was a truly pleasant surprise and I will be returning whenever I have morning flights out of LYS.
